The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. I believe that the discipline and strategic thinking gained from sports complement my academic pursuits and enhance my ability to connect with students from various backgrounds. I'm enthusiastic about helping learners build confidence and achieve their goals in a supportive and engaging environment. I am currently studying Mathematics and Actuarial Science at the University of Southampton, where I am continuing to deepen my understanding of mathematical theory, statistical analysis, and their real-world applications. This degree is further strengthening my analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into my tutoring sessions. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.

I’m someone deeply passionate about the intersection of technology, innovation, and social impact. Having lived and studied in both India and the United Kingdom, I’ve developed a broad, multicultural perspective that fuels my drive to solve global challenges through AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity. My academic journey has been complemented by a wide range of super-curricular activities — from reading tech-focused books and watching documentaries to taking specialized courses and participating in enrichment programs at institutions like Oxford and UEA. These experiences have sharpened both my curiosity and my commitment to building technology that makes a real difference. Alongside my academic pursuits, I’ve gained hands-on experience through roles like teaching computer science at Hewett Academy and working as a research assistant on a file encryption project published with IEEE. These opportunities not only strengthened my technical skills in Python, Java, and C, but also taught me valuable lessons in teamwork, communication, and academic rigor. Outside of tech, I’m an active person — I enjoy tennis, football, and swimming, which keep me grounded and balanced. Programs like the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award and Trinity Speech and Drama have helped me build confidence, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Looking ahead, I’m excited to pursue a career that blends entrepreneurship with cutting-edge technology, aiming to address issues like climate change, food security, and digital safety. I’m not just eager to participate in this dynamic field — I want to help shape it. My educational journey began with my GCSEs at Jane Austen College in Norwich, where I developed a strong foundation in a range of subjects. I then pursued my A Levels at Sir Isaac Newton Sixth Form, focusing on Maths, Chemistry and Physics, where I also had the opportunity to teach programming to younger students. Currently, I’ve just completed my first year studying Computer Science at the University of Bristol, where I’m building advanced skills in programming, algorithms, and systems. My studies have been enriched by academic programs such as the Frontier Program at Balliol College, Oxford and the Ideas Lab and Project Change at the University of East Anglia, which exposed me to research-driven and interdisciplinary learning environments. These experiences have helped me grow not only as a student but also as an aspiring technologist with global ambitions.

Nice to meet you! My name is Abdul, and I am a medical student at the University of Manchester with a strong interest in education. I achieved top grades at GCSE and A level, and I would love to help you learn effectively. I am an amicable individual who takes pride in my ability to understand, work with and assist others. I look forward to getting to know you and answering any questions you may have! During sixth form, I took part in a project called Maths Masterclasses, where I helped design and deliver lessons to primary school students. Planning my presentation required careful thought about structure, clarity, and how to challenge the students beyond their curriculum. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), researching how education strategies can be used in children’s medicine to give children and their carers better understanding of health. Techniques like “teach back,” where students explain a topic in their own words, have stuck with me as important tools for reinforcing learning. More informally, I’ve often found myself helping friends understand difficult topics, and I’ve learnt how to adapt my explanations depending on who I’m speaking to. These experiences have made me realise how much I enjoy teaching, especially when I can find the right approach to make a tricky concept click. I try to make sessions engaging but focused, and I’m always thinking about how to present information clearly and logically. Away from study, I really enjoy football - I love playing fantasy league and keeping up with scores. I also like to read non fiction (especially Wikipedia these days!) to broaden my knowledge on a wide range of topics. I look forward to helping students build confidence and enjoy learning as much as possible. I’m here to make our sessions fun, structured, and tailored to your pace, helping to place you on the path to success! I completed my GCSEs at Oulder Hill Leadership Academy, obtaining the highest grade available (9) in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Computer Science. I then completed my A-levels in 2024, obtaining grade A in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. Alongside my A-levels, I gained a range of casual experience during college. I took part in an extracurricular programme called Maths Masterclasses, where I prepared worksheets and delivered presentations to primary school students, helping stretch their understanding of Maths beyond the standard curriculum. I was also a member of the Virtual Medical Society, working with other aspiring medical students to create presentations on topics such as medical current affairs, admission exams, and aspects of the application process. This helped me develop the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and was awarded an A* for my work. My project, titled The Role of Health Literacy in Preventative Children's Medicine, deepened my understanding of the educational principles used in healthcare and how they can be applied within broader educational contexts.

I am a dedicated, committed and experienced tutor who excels in helping GCSE students develop exam technique and content confidence to reach those top marks most other students miss. I utilise a range of learning techniques and resources not readily available elsewhere which helped me achieve grade 9 in eight of my subjects at GCSE, which I will work through and teach with you or your child. I am an expert in helping students cross grade boundaries and flourish and my patient, complete learning approach ensures they'll have the confidence to take on any question. I attended Queen Elizabeth's school in Barnet, the highest ranking boys grammar school currently. My education and the resources I had access to there allowed me to attain grade 9 in 8 subjects at GCSE, Grade 8 in the remaining two subjects, an A grade - which is the highest that can be attained - in all of my AS-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, as well as receive a predicted Grade of A*, A*, A in Biology, Chemistry and Maths respectively at A-level. I am a current Imperial medicine offer holder, and can provide support for prospective medical applicants if they wish. Finally, I have had 2 years of experience tutoring younger students for their GCSE's and 11+ exams.

Mathematics and Chemistry tutor up to GSCE level Hello, you can call me Teejaay! I have been tutoring for 10 years now and it's truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I've helped so many students achieve their academic goals year after year. I specialize in the areas of Math and Science for elementary, high school and college students. I am well-versed in tutoring elementary school children and upwards, in any topic that is required; particularly common core Math and Science I have kept myself to a high standard as an educator and have always will expect the same from my students. I love working with students and encouraging the best work they can offer! As a teacher, I have been able to reach a myriad of ages within a diverse socio-economic group of students. Daily, I have been allowed to learn the best strategies and implement them in my teaching experience I had my first degree in Chemical Engineering in 2012 I did a post graduate diploma in Education I also have a Masters degree in Science Education I am a registered teacher I chose teaching as a profession because I love the impact one can have on individual children and touch lives. Of course it’s a great responsibility, but at the same time I cannot imagine devoting my life to something else, especially since I love being around learners–which is likely the second reason why I want to be a teacher. In my view, teaching is more a mission than a job really, especially in the uncertain times we live nowadays. I have been teaching all my life! I want to become a teacher because I believe to have the right skills, abilities, and attitude to become a good teacher. And I enjoy teaching, talking to learners, listening to them, trying to understand their emotional world, and be a good role model for them. At the end of the day, we should do a job in which we see some meaningful purpose. I know that I could earn twice as much working in some big corporation analyzing some data or sitting at a computer programming another mobile application, the billionth on the app store…. But I just don’t see a point in such type of work. Teaching is a completely different story- -you are impacting real lives!

We are really benefitting from our use of Go Student. Adam Idris is an awesome tutor for Science for my KS3 son, positive, extrovert and fun with my teenage son of few words... he really enjoyed the sessions. I love the simplicity of organising lessons via the simple Whatsapp chat format. (Phone and email used too) It was also much cheaper than I feared it would be and the quality of tutoring much higher. I chose a 24 month tie in of 4 days a month. Perfect for our needs and the price was great.

I would like to say thank you to Cameron Stone kind understanding and follow up . Which is very rare for this kind tutoring never ask afterwards, they just send you teacher that’s it . But Cameron was surprisingly very good and took his job seriously.
