I have just graduated from Warwick University with a first in my History and Politics degree at Warwick Uni and will be continuing my studies with a Master's in History. I also act as a mentor in both subjects at my University. I take Harvard courses in Computer Science (and small bits of maths) to boost my studies. I read way too many books in my free time and I currently also work as a Library Student Partner at my University which has included working on projects for students at both university and school, as well as working on projects specifically designed for neurodivergent students. Education is not 'one size fits all', and online tutoring is the perfect example of this. Hi, my name is Ruby. I’m currently a third year at Durham University, where I am studying Theology. I provide one-to-one tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Biology and History, and have two years of tutoring experience. Additionally, I have experience with mature students, if you are an adult looking to achieve GCSE or A-Level qualifications. I am pleased to say that all of my students have passed, achieving Grades 4/5 (C) and above in the academic years 2023-24 and 2024-25! I have developed a flexible teaching style that can cater to your/your child’s learning needs. I focus my teaching around two points: reinforcing content and refining exam technique. I will usually dedicate half of every lesson to each, depending on the student’s needs. Hi there my name is Dan and I am looking to help people when it comes to learning English and History. I am 30 years old and I have a wide breadth of experience from a career that has spanned multiple roles in a variety of sectors from teaching assistant and one-to-one tutoring, all the way to construction and freelance journalism. I want to help people meet their own personal goals and what with English being so ubiquitous, it seems a grasp of at least the basics is an essential part of anyone's toolkit. Kia ora hey! My name is Haylie and I am a middle distance runner, master's student, actress and student support worker. I am studying an MSc in International Development part-time here at the University of Edinburgh while training and competing, as well as picking up casual hours teaching and supporting students. Moving to Edinburgh has been great fun, but I grew up in LA as a Kiwi-American. I lived in Aotearoa New Zealand for most of my adult life, where I also completed my bachelor's in Education with minors in Politics and TESOL. I absolutely love all things travel and adventure related, and I'm always keen for a chat about world politics, language, culture, running, football, travel, acting, and learning something new!

I am currently studying Law at Durham University and have started to tutor in the summer, whilst I am at home. At university, I have joined the dance society. I play the piano and the flute and enjoy listening to all different types of music, from pop to classical! During my time at school I was in the school band and performed in various charity showcases. English and History were my favourite subjects at GCSE, so I decided to take them at A-Level. I enjoy learning about the past, with my favourite topic being medicine throughout time. My favourite area of English is poetry, and I enjoy reading a vast majority of poems from different periods in time analysing what the poems wider message symbolises.

I am currently studying archeology and ancient history at Oxford university, so I have a passion for all things from the past. I also studied sciences for A-level (chemistry and biology) so I enjoy engaging with the science world too. Outside of school I love to go on dog walks and read lots of books, especially crime books.
