Helping others has always been something Ive tried to do wherever possible and is one of the main reasons why Ive tutored in the past and also why I want to become a Doctor. I am a determined and goal orientated individual who enjoys achieving fulfilment through completing tasks and activities. I can be quite competitive but never to mine or my teams detriment as the greater goal always outweighs personal gain. Football, swimming, cricket and basketball are some of my favourite sports and I like to believe that my love of sports and playing them has increased my communication, cooperation and leadership skills. I think a lot of the attributes I have developed through roles and experiences I have had in life can help me achieve success both as a tutor and hopefully as a future Doctor. I am currently studying medicine at university and wish to become a paediatric surgeon in the future. I obtained my GCSEs at Lister Community School achieving 9 A*-A and 2 B's. I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A levels where I did Biology, Chemistry, Physics and AS level Mathematics. I am also familiar with the grammar school entry exams (11+) as I sat them myself as a child and have tutored kids for them in the past

**SSH** Hi, I am Mandini. Teaching has always been a passion of mine and out of that, Mathematics is a subject that has a lot to teach and learn. I believe that there is a champ at math in every child and I would call myself a person who works very hard to bring up that champ in all my students. I have had the opportunity to tutor many young schoolers who found it difficult to grasp the subject but with my unique teaching techniques and robust lesson plans, I have successfully been able to show my students the right path to achieve a top grade in math. I am a highly organized and flexible tutor and I would confidently say that I have in-depth knowledge of the subject matter I teach. I am eagerly looking forward to meeting new students who want to explore the subject of mathematics and do great things in the future. Subject matter taught:- Mathematics: primary and secondary classes up to GCSE level. Undergraduate at University of Plymouth - BA(Hons) Accounting and Finance Passed Advanced Level Examination -physical science stream 9 A (out of 9 subjects) passes for GCE Ordinary Level Examination. Mathematics subject prize winner for years 2015, 2016 - Alethea International School. Cambridge ESOL Examinations -Fully Completed upto First Certificate in English (level B2)

Studying a masters in Quantum Fields and Fundamental Forces at Imperial College London. Possess vast experience in Maths and Physics up to an including University level. I offer multiple packages some of which include: - Get Ahead This Summer Package! - Go Back To School With A Bang! - The Summer Revision Package! - Polish Your Skills Over The Summer! - Get Ready For Your GCSEs Package! - Get A Head Start With Your GCSEs! - Get Ready For Your A-LEVELS Package! - Get A Head Start With Your A-LEVELS! I have five years experience of tutoring Maths and Physics. I have also taught A-level Maths lessons in a sixth form whilst a qualified teacher was observing the lesson. During this experience I learnt how to develop different explanations for the same concept on the spot and this has been a very useful skill. I use this experience during my lessons and am able to adapt to individual students quickly. I like to make my lessons interactive and write on an online whiteboard in real time so that the student can actively take notes. I use a stylus to write on an online whiteboard which allows the lessons to be more efficient. I emphasize understanding of a concept during my lessons, a high level of understanding will allow students to apply what they have learnt in their exams. I am currently a Theoretical Physics Student at Royal Holloway University of London and wish to become a Professor of Mathematic Physics. I am very good at simplifying difficult concepts and explaining them in a visual way, it is difficult to get this level of understanding in schools and I well help compensate this. I will use my years of experience study physics and maths to teach the concepts in the most efficient and useful way possible. I enjoy tennis, football, badminton and basketball. I've captained my school teams in Badminton and Cricket. I also enjoy running and aim to run the London marathon next year so I have to train very hard. Studied GCSEs in London where I obtained eight grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 7, an A* in Further Mathematics and an A in additional mathematics. I also studied my A-levels in London where I obtained 3A*s and 2A's in Maths, Further Maths, EPQ, Physics and Chemistry respectively. I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at Royal Holloway University of London.

What is Key Stage 2?
Key Stage 2 (KS2) is the term used to refer to the second stage of a child’s primary education and covers Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. Children are typically aged between 7 and 11 years old in KS2.
What subjects are covered at Key Stage 2?
Children are taught the following subjects:
Schools must also provide Religious Education, although parents can ask that their children are taken out of part or all the lessons.
The focus of Key Stage 2
Maths and English are the focus of Key Stage 2 as they are considered gateways to future learning. In English, children progress from reading with a focus on comprehension to grasping overall concepts through age-appropriate literature. They learn how to craft well-punctuated and structured sentences and express their ideas clearly. In Maths, children should be able to perform calculations with increasingly large and complex numbers, including long division and multiplication. They will also use measuring instruments like rulers and make connections between measurements and numbers. That’s not to say the other subjects aren’t important for a well-rounded education. For example, science covers the basics of biology, physics and chemistry, and an understanding of the world is introduced in history and geography. Computing is considered essential in today’s world.
Tests and assessment
Children take exams known as SATs (Standardised Assessment Tests) at the end of KS2 in the following subjects:
The SATS results are used to assess progress in English and maths and measure school performance.
How to choose a KS2 tutor
Key Stage 2 is a crucial stage in your child’s education as it builds a foundation in core skills and prepares them for the more demanding requirements of secondary education. If your child is struggling in one or more subjects or lacks overall motivation and confidence, it’s important to address these issues before they start falling behind in their learning. The SATs are culmination of work over the whole of KS2 and not just Year 6, so your child will benefit from tutoring at any stage. It’s important to choose an experienced KS2 tutor who can offer lessons adapted to your child’s specific needs and who will provide you with regular feedback on their progress. At GoStudent, our tutors offer adaptive learning, where lessons, readings and practice activities are personalised towards the individual child and based on their current skills and performance. They also offer interactive and engaging lessons that will keep your child’s interest – and could spark a love for learning that will last through their academic career and beyond.
Is private KS2 tuition affordable?
Your child can get KS2 tuition for as low as £21.99 per session. The price of each private tuition session depends on how regularly and for how long your child takes tuition with us. Book a free trial session with us and you can find out how affordable private tuition with GoStudent can be for you.
How many other levels does GoStudent offer other than KS2 tuition?
As well as private KS2 tuition, GoStudent can help your child with 11 other levels. Pick from many subjects including Geography, History, German. And with GoStudent your child isn't tied into one level. If they are taking KS2 tuition but then need support with a different level, we can help them get that support with a tutor specialised in that level.
How can private KS2 tuition help your child?
GoStudent tutoring can benefit students of all ages and school levels, including KS2. Whether your child is working towards better grades, improving their confidence at school, or building on their interests, GoStudent can find the right tutor for your child to get the most out of school. We do this by finding the perfect match between students and tutors. We take the time to ensure a good match between our pool of tutors and your child’s personality, learning habits and hobbies.
