I am a passionate Primary School Teacher that loves to help our next generation of young minds to progress and achieve their goals! I am very enthusiastic and my goal is to make learning fun and memorable. I currently teach Year 3 but have experience across all the year groups up to Year 6. From September, I will be teaching Year 5. I have completed an Autism Awareness diploma, attended lots of courses on trauma informed practises, as well as dyslexia and dyscalculia training. I have supported Year 6 with SATs preparation, Year 2 with SATs, and Year 1 with Phonics screening. Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices. I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I moved to Ireland when I was 12 years old. I love Maths and English, but I decided to study Science in college. I love reading classic novels, writing funny stories, and watching Korean dramas. I enjoy travelling, cooking Asian foods and making my friends laugh. I look forward to helping more students!
