Hi! My name is Mia and I’m currently a student at Univerista Bocconi In Milan, studying Economics and Finance. I was born in London, and grew up there and also spent 7 years in Abu Dhabi. My hobbies include travelling and playing netball and of course relaxing with my friends. I attended Brighton College Abu Dhabi for majority of my high school and finished my last 2 years of education at Latymer Upper School in London where I did A levels. I took maths, physics and economics alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification on whether unpaid (household) labour should be recognized within GDP, earning a merit! I had my primary school education in St. Mary's private school, Lagos, Nigeria. I also had my secondary education in Nigeria. At University level, I majored in BSc. Medicine in Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University in Lviv, Ukraine. I am currently studying Masters in Public Health in the University of Northampton. I had always dreamed of becoming a doctor as a child but had difficulties in transitioning to the Science classes in my secondary education. My parent employed a tutor that entirely changed my course, this is why I remain passionate about how important the role of a tutor can be.

I served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps. I have a 4-year university degree from San Diego, California. In 2004 I gained a TESOL certificate at Transworld Schools in San Francisco, California. I have over 12 years of cumulative teaching experience in Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, and China. I think that teaching English has benefitted me the most in the world around us. When I was in Kuwait I wrote and self-published a children's book entitled Korean Odyssey. I now live in Wiveliscombe, Somerset England awaiting a return to Thailand where my Thai wife is.
