I am an engineering university student with a diverse educational background from different countries. Owing to my diverse experience, I am able to teach using varied curricula, adopt different systems, and incorporate appropriate approaches to meet the needs of the students. I am still a student, so I have first-hand experience with what students require from a student's perspective. Although I have around 3 years of experience working as a part-time tutor, both online and physical,  I have been tutoring as a volunteer for about 8 years now.  I have worked with students from different parts of the world of all levels and ages. Aside from teaching as a career, I am passionate about it because I aspire that "learning should be fun." I teach because I love it, because I enjoy it, and because I want to help the student improve in the most amusing way possible. As the saying goes "if you do what you love, you will do it with passion," and I am here to help the students realize that they love learning. I began my lower-level studies in Tanzania (my home country), where I picked up the British educational system. I later received a scholarship to study abroad as an exchange student, moved to the US to complete part of my high school there, and then returned to Tanzania to finish my A-levels. At this point, starting with the modest volunteer programs I was taking part in in Tanzania, this is when I first learned about teaching. I was awarded another scholarship to Turkey to start my bachelor's in engineering. And this is when I started teaching as a part-time profession, taking it to the next level. I currently live in Lithuania as an Erasmus student and am constantly exploring new adventures and experiences as a teacher through different youth programs and volunteer camps. I completed my A-levels during the pandemic, so I know first hand how tough online learning has been for many students, and how easy gaps in learning lead to lack of confidence in that subject. I myself have done the 11+ exam entrance exam, alongside a different entrance exam for my local Grammer school. The 11+ can be daunting, especially the non-verbal reasoning, but I believe this can be overcome during fun activities, such as puzzles and word games. Through my childhood I have loved completing word puzzles, I have many fond memories of doing word searches with my grandfather, suduko with my father and crossword puzzles with my grandmother. I believe this has broadened my perspective on life and allows me to problem solve more efficiently.
