Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.

I am currently studying Medicine at the university of Liverpool :) I love to read and also am a huge fan of baking. I also love to be active and play a bunch of different sports and go for walks. My family are from Sri Lanka which is amazing, and I love to travel when I get the chance to. I achieved all 9s in GCSE apart from an 8 in Drama and Physics. I also did four alevels and achieved a A* in Mathematics, A in Biology, A in chemistry and a B in further maths. I am currently studying medicine at the university of Liverpool. During school I especially enjoyed my maths and chemistry and currently do really enjoy learning biology whilst at university. Hello! I am currently studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Bath. My main pastimes include hiking/camping, going to the gym, and running, so I do hope that I can relate to many of you! For me, tutoring is developing a clear understanding of subject knowledge instead of regurgitation of facts; learning should be to question and to think critically rather than to memorise.
