Hi, my name is Connor and I am a 22-year-old university student from Liverpool. I am currently studying for my physics degree and plan to further my studies with a PhD in physics. I enjoy problem-solving which is why I studied computer science, physics and maths at A-level. After Sixth Form I took a gap year in the hope of travel however COVID prevented me from doing so, so instead I worked in retail whilst reading in preparation for university. I am half Spanish and love to travel; my favourite excursions being the frequent visits to Spain to see my grandparents. My other hobbies include dancing (from the age of 4), going to the gym, crotchet and just generally spending time with my friends and family. University has provided me with a wealth of transferable skills, the most important of which is the ability to learn, teach and communicate remotely. I've discovered that there are numerous advantages to taking online classes, such as the efficiency, flexibility, and variety of lesson styles that can be used. Hi! My name is Rad and I study Medicine at the University of Leicester. I love teaching and working with people to tackle problems in creative ways, and simply passing down my knowledge I've accumulated over the years. That's why I've been involved in mentoring since the start of sixth form! I have achieved A*A*A* in my A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and 9s in my GCSEs for Maths and the Sciences respectively. Hi, I’m Paul. I mostlytutor Maths and Science as well as Computer Science and English as a Foreign Language, which I trained in at Columbia Teachers’ College, USA. Originally I studied for a BA in Natural Sciences. I have been a classroom teacher and tutor for over 15years, in the UK as well as South Korea, Japan and China, and more recently have developed Science courses for a large online learning platform. My tutorials are often centered around structured practice of specific topic areas, with an approach geared toward getting students to speak freely about topics in their own voices.
