About me: Hi! My name's Misbah and I love teaching Mathematics. Maths was one of my favourite subjects at school purely because I was fascinated by it. Some of my hobbies include playing netball and baking. What about you? GCSE: Mathematics (foundation and higher). I am familiar with all GCSE Maths exam boards including AQA, Edexcel and OCR. I specifically teach maths to students from Year 9 Year 11 in order to help them gain a solid foundation of knowledge that we can build on as they progress through education towards their GCSE exams. After going through the UK education system, I completed both GCSE and A-levels. During my A-levels, I studied Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics and the LIBF Certificate of financial studies too. I have also graduated University with a BSc (hons) in Chemistry with a 2:1.

I am passionate about helping young people get the most out of their education. I will work with you and your child to find common ground, relate their studies to things that interest and engage them, and hopefully be that one to one person who makes things "click" for them. Working within a class suits a lot of children, but isn't always the best approach for everyone. Asking questions is a lot easier when you are in a safe one to one environment. Whether you need someone to sit with your child while they do their homework, work on extra examples to deepen their understanding so they enjoy class time more, or work towards an entrance or 11 plus exam I can help. I have worked in and out of schools since I gained my degree. I am married with a teenage daughter. Outside of work I love being outdoors, walking, gardening and on my paddleboard. I have a first class BaHons in Fashion and Textiles as this was my passion as a teenager and worked for many years as a clothing buyer. Hi there! I'm a graduate in science and I am hoping to become a doctor in the future! Right now, I'm learning a lot by working in a care home and schools across North East.
