Hey! My name is Maria and I am 24 years old. I am currently studying Dietetics at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen. I have grown up trilingual, speaking Italian, German and Ladin at home with family and friends. Ladin is a very uncommon language, only 40,000 people speak it. Moreover, I speak English fluently and learned Russian for 5 years (B1 level). After finishing high school I went to Australia for 7 months. I worked and travelled along the southern and eastern coasts. I have worked as a teacher for a couple of months a few years ago, with a special focus on children with learning difficulties. I can teach Italian and German at all levels, and Maths and Biology at Lower Level. I don't have a preferred student age group.

I’m a medical student with a passion for teaching Biology, Science, and Maths at primary and GCSE levels. Almost 10 years in higher education, I’ve learned two key things: 1) Every student can succeed with the right teaching approach, and 2) Learning should be active, using techniques like spaced repetition and active recall. I focus on breaking down complex topics, using examples, mnemonics, and past papers to help students understand. I’m patient and adaptable, always ready to find new ways to explain concepts if needed. Outside of academics, I’m passionate about sports, gaming, and tech. I’ve coached an under-15 basketball team and teach guitar at my church, which helps me connect with students and build trust to boost their confidence and performance. I graduated from Glasgow in 2020 with a 2:1 in Biomedical Sciences and am currently pursuing a medical degree. I have completed my ALs in Biology Stream including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. I have completed my GCE OL including Science, Maths, IT, English, and Business Studies.

I am a BSc Economics graduate from the University of Nottingham I teach GCSE and A Level Business Studies and Economics. Having been a tutor for over 14 months, I have helped students achieve As and A*s in their studies, empowering them to reach their goals and get into top universities. I'm a 4th year medical student at Newcastle University, but I'm originally from Cumbria. I really enjoy the sciences particularly anything related to the human body, hence why I want to be a Doctor. Hey! I am a university student pursuing an undergraduate in Economics and Finance, I am currently in my second year of the course. I came through a mix of the IB and American schooling system, and given that I am currently studying in the UK, you could say I am familiar with all sorts of curriculums! Given my educational background, I am comfortable tutoring Economics up to an A level (or equivalent) standards. I am also able to teach Maths and Statistics up to GCSE (or equivalent) standards. Additionally, I have experience with IB, AP, and University level examinations across subjects relevant to Maths and Economics.
