Hi! My name is John and I'm a PhD student in Edinburgh. I'm currently studying Linguistics but my background is in science which I studied for my undergraduate degree. I'm part-Italian, part-American and part-British and I'm into all things nerdy, be it fantasy and sci-fi, video-games, TTRPGs or anything else you can imagine. I think that the greatest pleasure in life is learning something new so I hope to get the chance to share that pleasure with others.

I am Katie, an undergraduate student at Durham University. I am in second year, studying Environmental Geoscience. I achieved an A* at Maths A level, 9 at GCSE and have always enjoyed maths. I have had tutoring experience on another online platform and within my university, tutoring foundation students. I really enjoy tutoring and seeing the improvement I can make on a students ability is very rewarding. I look forward to meeting some of you. Through this I have gained speaking skills, communication skills and more experience in adapting my knowledge to help others. I have really enjoyed this and gained experience in simplifying complex concepts for a better understanding. I have also gained presenting and technology skills as this was all done on an online platform.

I've been a deputy head for ten years in London and now I am working to support students directly to be successful in particularly in maths GCSE, A Level Law and 11+ entrance. I know that students have different needs and that it is essential to adapt lessons to fit students' different skills. I studied in Singapore for secondary and high school, so I am familiar with the British O level and A level syllabi, which are used in Singapore with minor variations. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. I have been teachign English language and grammar, Mathematics, History, and Biology to students up to secondary level both online and offline for the past 2 years. I am a passionate and patient teacher dedicated to making learning enjoyable and rewarding to my students. In my spare time, I write and produce for a podcast and a campus newspaper in English, and I'm in the orchestra of Le Havre as a violinist. My first language is Mandarin. Research Experience: I had research attanchment at Nanyang Technological University before coming to France for my University, under the Biochemistry department. My name is Samhita Andhavarapu and I'm a 1st year med student studying abroad! I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Therefore, I will try to adapt my teaching style to the students needs and based on the best way that they learn. I got A's in both subjects at A-Level I got A's in Maths and Biology at A-Level. I received a 7 in GCSE Biology and a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths. As I am now studying medicine at university I feel like my level of knowledge for Biology and Maths is strong. However, if I do not know something I will be prepared to learn and then help my student understand the concept of the topic.
