I’m an Oxford Chemistry student who has achieved top grades in Chemistry and Maths. I love helping students build confidence and improve their results. Hello, I'm James and I'm a college student at UCD. I'm currently studying Economics and Finance which is a heavily maths-orientated degree. Growing up, I have always loved maths and it was my favourite subject at Junior Cert and Leaving Cert level. I obtained 10 A's in my Junior Cert, including an A in maths in addition to 7 H1's at Leaving Cert. I received a H1 in maths (100%) and in Applied Maths (99%). I have been tutoring secondary school students for the better part of a year and I absolutely love it. Like most people, I have also had difficulty with Maths and I would like to use my experience to help others any difficulties they may have. Having completed secondary school in 2021, I am very familiar with all aspects of the Junior Certificate and Leaving Certificate syllabi. I am a PPE student at the University of Manchester with a love of Mathematics and breaking complex problems into simple steps. Hello, my name is Kirsty. I am currently a PhD student at the University of Manchester studying maternal and fetal health. At secondary school I always enjoyed learning about Science and Maths, so after my GCSEs I decided to study A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Further Maths. Following this, I went to the University of Manchester to study Biomedical Sciences. Here I spent three years learning about various aspects of Biology such as Anatomy, Physiology, Neuroscience and Biochemistry. From my lectures I began to grow an interest in maternal and fetal health, which I pursued by completing my master's in reproduction and pregnancy. As well as increasing my knowledge about biology I also learnt laboratory skills and how to conduct experiments. I am now doing my PhD whilst also teaching undergraduate biology students at the university. Outside of academia I also enjoy going to dance classes, hiking and baking.

Hi everyone, I’m Barnaby. I’m currently studying for a Master of Physics at the University of Oxford, having graduated with a first-class Bachelor’s in Physics in 2025. Before university, I achieved A*s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry, finishing top of my school in both Maths and Physics. Beyond academics, I have a wide range of interests. Most recently, I wrote and directed my own musical, which I took to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025. I also work as a group leader at High 5 Sports and Activities Holiday Camp, where I look after children aged five to fourteen. I'm currently a doing my Master of Physics at the University of Oxford having achieved a First in my undergraduate physics degree at Oxford. I was previously a academic and music scholar at Exeter School in Devon, achieving 4 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. In my GCSE's I achieved 7 9s, 2 8s and 2 7s.
