Hi! My name is Rad and I study Medicine at the University of Leicester. I love teaching and working with people to tackle problems in creative ways, and simply passing down my knowledge I've accumulated over the years. That's why I've been involved in mentoring since the start of sixth form! I have achieved A*A*A* in my A levels (Biology, Chemistry, Maths) and 9s in my GCSEs for Maths and the Sciences respectively. I hope to meet wonderful students here, and help you understand concepts that seem daunting :) I will be teaching the curriculum, covering the specifications accurately. I have extensive knowledge of the mark schemes and what examiners are looking for, so I will also be helping you improve your exam technique. In a typical lesson, we would go through what difficulties you've been facing and try to tackle them from various angles. This includes breaking down concepts into simpler stages and working our way on top of them. I am a firm believer of having a strong foundation down, so I will make sure that your fundamental concepts are understood well. I have taught a variety of students, including from Year 9 to Year 13.

Hi! I’m Catherine Solomon, a tutor passionate about turning tricky concepts into “aha!” moments. My name is Imad and I am currently a first year medicine student at the University of Liverpool, having attended a grammar school prior. Eventually, I went on to attend King Edward VI Grammar School (KEGS), a school consistently ranked in the top 10 schools in the UK. At GCSE level, I gained five grade 9's, four grade 8's and three grade 7's. This includes a grade 9 in all subjects that I tutor. At A-level, I gained A*, A*, A, B in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and EPQ.

I tutor English Language, English Literature and Maths. I have been tutoring since I finished university and I really enjoy it. In between tutoring I write my own poetry and bake cakes to relax. I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. Hi! My name is Yaseen and I am currently a second-year student at the University of Manchester and I am studying Mechatronic Engineering. I love this field of study because it is always evolving and progressing with the development of technology used in manufacturing electrical components and robots. My interest in STEM subjects began at secondary school where my teachers showed me the applications of STEM which led to the formation of a STEM club and my involvement as a STEM ambassador. Subjects I teach: I teach maths and French at a lower level, and GCSE, as well as further maths at GCSE level only and maths at A level. Exam board experience: I have experience with the AQA maths and further maths curricula, and for French I have experience with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and I used the AQA syllabus for my AS level. Languages: I speak french fluently and have done so since I was 5 years old. SEND experience: I do not have any experience with tutoring students with SEND. I was sometimes placed next to SEND students in lessons in year 9 because my teachers deemed me responsible and able to aid with their work if needed. Preferred student age groups: I enjoy teaching all age groups, but having had less experience with younger I am more familiar with older GCSE to A level students. About me: I was born in the UK but grew up in France from the age of 4, attending a french school for the whole 10 years I was there. This means that I speak the language fluently and achieved a French GCSE at 12 years old. I then moved back to England in 2017 and attended boarding school until the end of 6th form which was something I very much enjoyed. I came away with 13 GCSEs and 4 A levels. I now study Aerospace Engineering at the University of Southampton. I am a vice-president of the motorsport society there and compete in both university and independent karting championships. I also play basketball and tennis twice a week and attend the gym regularly. I also enjoy playing the piano when I have time.
