I'm Oscar, a mathematics tutor with an Integrated Master's in Mathematics (First Class honours) from the University of Bath. I am now based in Berlin and am currently completing a MSc in Mathematics at Freie Universität with a focus in graph theory and network science. I've been tutoring maths (and sometimes chess!) both online and in-person for over a year now, and I have enjoyed every moment of it; I like to focus on building a deep conceptual understanding for each student, rather than just simply teaching pattern-matching to exam questions. Tailoring the way I teach to the unique way in which each student learns is one of my favourite parts of getting to know a new student. I attended Ilkley Grammar School in West Yorkshire, England between the ages of 11-18. Here I attained 10 GCSEs (all A*s), 3 A-levels in Maths (A*), Further Maths (A*) and English Literature (A*) alongside an AS-level in Physics (a). I then enrolled at the University of Bath in 2022 on an Integrated Master's course in mathematics, graduating in July 2026 with first class honours and a grade of 84% on my final year dissertation in Probability Theory. I am currently enrolled at Freie Universität and will be completing an MSc in Mathematics, specialising in Graph Theory and Network Science.

Hi, I'm Haris and I study Medicine at Leicester University, throughout school I always loved helping out any friends stuck on school work, because I found this was a great way to learn and now it's become a vital way for me to revise in med school. This is what makes me so enthusiastic about tutoring and I can see myself taking teaching roles in the future of my carrer. I can tutor GCSE Maths, Chemistry and Biology, all of which I received top grades at both GCSE and A-Level. I also provide KS2 and KS3 Maths tutoring. I'm a Chelsea fan, I enjoy Xbox/PS, the Gym, Marvel Movies, and a slight bit of rugby, over the years I’ve been able to maintain all these hobbies, even through exam periods, and I put that down to timetabling effectively which is something I’m happy to help with if needed! I'm a 3rd year medical student currently studying at the University of Leicester. I studied Maths, Biology, Chemistry at A Levels achieving A*A*A and Further Maths at AS achieving an A I have experience tutoring primary school and GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry and can quickly adapt to whichever exam board/curriculum needed

*Empowering Students to Reach their Potential as a Dedicated Tutor I specialise in helping students excel in GCSE and A Level Maths & Business Studies, boosting their confidence and surpassing their academic targets. With a track record of guiding students to achieve grades from C to A*, I focus on unlocking each student's potential. With nearly 10 years of experience in one-to-one tuition, I am well-versed in the latest GCSE and A Level Maths specifications across exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, IGCSE, CIE IGCSE & TMUA. *Teaching Approach* Understanding each student’s unique needs and capabilities is central to my teaching. I aim to make maths relatable by delving into the logic and structure behind the concepts, which not only aids in problem-solving but also builds confidence and independence. Many of my students achieve their predicted grades months before their final exams, often exceeding their original goals. *Philosophy & Strategy* My teaching philosophy is to be patient, to understand the students' need and learning capability to encourage them to be the best they can be. I also like to provide an understanding of how the maths works on a fundamental level by providing the knowledge on the logic and structure. This way my students are not only taught how to answer questions, but why we answer the way we do. I believe this can be highly encouraging and help build confidence in the subject overall. Attended Staffordshire University between 2006 and 2001. During this time I achieved a BA Hons 2.1 in Business Studies and an MSc Pass in Marketing. During this time I helped International students understand subject material who found lectures too fast paced. It was during this time that I realised 1 to 1 tuition was something I could excel at.

Hi, I’m Isabelle. I am an undergraduate student studying Biomedical Systems Engineering at the University of Warwick. While in Year 12, I helped students who were struggling with maths in booster sessions offered by my school. These were targeted at Year 11 students to ensure they were confident before their exams. During my A-levels I taught myself AS-level Further Maths as it was not a subject offered by my school. This helped me to discover effective methods to learn and understand content. I became Head Girl of my school and engaged in student council meetings, which allowed me to understand how we can help students more. I am patient, a great listener, and I firmly believe that anyone can become better with enough support. A-levels: 2025 Quinton House School Grade A*: Mathematics Grade A: Physics, Chemistry, and AS Further Mathematics GCSEs: 2023 Quinton House School Grade 9: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and French Grade 8: History Grade 6: English Language and English Literature I am currently studying a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Systems Engineering.
