Hello! I’m Teacher Kolleen, a passionate and dedicated educator with seven years of teaching and tutoring experience. I have had the privilege of teaching a wide range of subjects—Math, English, and Science for primary and lower secondary students, as well as Music, Arts, and Computer Technology at the upper secondary level. My greatest motivation comes from witnessing those “Aha!” moments when students finally grasp challenging concepts. By combining hands-on examples, visuals, and guided practice, I help students gain confidence and clarity. Outside the classroom, I nurture my creativity through music and art—I love singing, painting, and playing the piano, guitar, and ukulele. I also served as Treasurer of the COEd-Generalist Society and worked as a student assistant at the College of Science and Mathematics. To further enhance my leadership and management skills, I am currently completing my thesis for the Master of Arts in Educational Management at Bulacan State University Graduate School, having already finished 39 academic units. I also continue to expand my knowledge through online learning. At the University of the Philippines Open University, I completed micro courses in Graphic Design and Typography, Business Analytics, and Technology for Teaching and Learning. In addition, I trained with Canva Design School, taking up programs such as AI in the Classroom, Graphic Design Essentials, and Teaching Essentials. Over the years, I’ve also developed strong skills in online teaching, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Adobe Suites, and Canva Professional. Hello! My name is Grettah, and I’m a passionate English teacher with a love for helping students grow in confidence and communication. I have experience teaching learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. Hi! I'm Owen and I'm a graduate of Girton College at the University of Cambridge, where I read MA Modern and Medieval Languages and MPhil Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic from 2018 to 2023. During my undergraduate I studied French and German, with a focus on historical and comparative linguistics and spent a year abroad at the University of Strasbourg, studying Russian, Dutch, and Swedish, alongside comparative linguistic research. Following my interests in Germanic philology, I stayed at Cambridge for my MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, continuing further study of Old Norse and Old English alongside a dissertation on Reflexives and Self in Old English, Old High German, and Old Saxon. Following graduation, I’ve taken up various professional, full-time roles in education consultancy, leading in-house support for personal statements, admissions tests, and interviews at hundreds of schools across the UK and around the world. I’ve delivered presentations on Oxbridge applications, preparation, and strategy to thousands of students and have designed and delivered training to help teachers at some of the UK’s top independent schools better support their own students with university applications. I’ve personally consulted with hundreds of students for (almost!) every subject at Oxbridge and have supported applicants across languages, linguistics, literature, ASNC, and history through the entire application process, from course, university, and college selection, to supercurricular engagement, admissions tests, personal statements, written work, and mock interviews. I’m also a British Council certified counsellor and have completed Russell Group certified training on supporting students to progress to competitive universities, as well as child protection training for tutors through the NSPCC. Hi!! My name is Eimear, I’m a 20 year old girl currently in my final year studying a BA in Philosophy, politics and economics at the University of Leeds. I’ve always been a curious individual, who enjoys studying and sharing knowledge with others. During my time at sixth form, I helped a maths GCSE class in preparation for their exams. I really enjoyed this experience and it has urged me to continue to continue with tutoring. I would love to help more people to excel in education and be really proud of their achievements - no matter how big or small! I went to St Nicholas Catholic High School where I got 10 GCSEs grade 9-7 and I stayed on at Sixth Form where I achieved A*,A,A in English Literature, Maths and Religious Studies ALevels. Alongside my ALevels, I also completed an Extended Project Qualification that was awarded an A* as well. I now study a BA in PPE at University of Leeds, where I am aiming to achieve a first class. When I was in sixth form, I helped a GCSE maths class in preparation for their exams, where I conducted 1-1 sessions with various students to go over past papers and establish areas of concern. Beyond that, my degree has allowed me to continue to develop both my numerical skills as well as my written skills, so I think I have a good basis for helping students with both English and Maths (my two favourite subjects). I have work experience as a waitress and cleaner, which have helped me to communicate clearer and work well with a team. Additionally, I am Secretary of Leeds University PPE society, a task which has really developed my team building skills, my ability to organise my time and respond accordingly to comments.

Hello! I'm a tutor for GCSE Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Curiosity is so important to me - seizing opportunities wherever possible and always willing to try out a diverse and novel range of experiences. I also apply this mindset to the world of academia. I'm a strong believer that learning across disciplines teaches you one of the most important skills: understanding how someone else thinks. If you've had to deconstruct complicated concepts in a variety of subjects you quickly become adept at understanding where a person is getting stuck. I meet you where you're at. No skipping forward. We identify the gaps. Fill those gaps properly. And build from there. There are very few students who lack ability, they've just not had something explained to them in the right way yet. Another big part of my job is building confidence. Learning how to trust your own judgement and rationale. How to ask the right questions. How to stop panicking and second-guessing yourself during exams. You already have the knowledge, you just have to realise it! I studied Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Physics at A Level and AS Level - so the subjects I tutor are ones I've lived and breathed through exams myself, not too long ago. I know the syllabuses well. At GCSE, I achieved 13 A*s across a broad range of subjects including Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, English Literature and Geography, among others. I was also awarded a prize for Citizenship and Academics as Best in Year. Outside of the classroom, I've always looked for ways to stretch myself - whether that was competitive debating, mentoring other students, or delivering weekly talks to school students and hospital staff linking science and medicine with real-world issues. I also earned Gold (Best in Year) in a UK Mathematics Trust-style competition. More recently, I've applied that academic foundation to some pretty varied things - from building mathematical models to address housing challenges, to achieving a top ~0.02% award in an international essay competition.

Hello ! I'm Sadie, 19 and currently completing an undergraduate degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response in Manchester. I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping others build confidence in their academic abilities. I completed my secondary education in 2025, where I focused on Geography, Religious Studies and Chemistry, and have continued to develop my knowledge and passion for geography through my university course. I have experience supporting younger students with exam preparation, having taken part in a peer coaching scheme for 2 years whilst at school. Through this, I have learned the importance of patience, structure and encouragement in helping students succeed.
