Hi! My name is Haleemah and I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical science at university. As someone who was once a student, reaching for help in areas which I struggled with in my subjects was always a challenge. Now I have the opportunity to support fellow students in a matter which would hopefully make them feel more confident in areas they find difficult or concepts they find hard to grasp. I teach primary maths, GCSE Mathematics and Sciences, and I also teach A-Level Biology and Chemistry. Since, I have already completed my GCSE's and A levels after 2017, my knowledge of the new curriculum is automatically up to date, and in addition to also doing a range of exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL, and OCR, my knowledge of exam boards and their method of examining is thorough as well. In my free time, I enjoy baking and cooking, even though sometimes my bakes may not turn out well, but I never give up! Hi! My name is Oliver, but everyone calls me Ollie, and I have been studying Politics at the University of Warwick since September 2023. I did A-Levels in my home city of Liverpool. I love my subject and I love teaching children as I have done before working at Kumon. I play instruments with my favourite being the drum kit, and I love playing board games with people! I also sometimes go skiing with my family. I completed my A-levels in Mathematics, Psychology, and Politics at the Liverpool Blue Coat Grammar School in 2023 and am currently studying Politics and International Studies at the University of Warwick. I am experienced in teaching both English and Mathematics from ages 4-16 at various levels, as I have done so for Kumon for a number of years before and during lockdown.

Lower Level: 11+ preparation and maths GCSE: maths Exam Board Experience: Edexcel for maths, and 11+ entry exam About you: I am currently finishing my Masters Degree in Applied Child Psychology at the University of Sussex, after completing my BSc in Psychology and Law in 2024. I completed my A-levels during the pandemic, so I know first hand how tough online learning has been for many students, and how easy gaps in learning lead to lack of confidence in that subject. I myself have done the 11+ exam entrance exam, alongside a different entrance exam for my local Grammer school. The 11+ can be daunting, especially the non-verbal reasoning, but I believe this can be overcome during fun activities, such as puzzles and word games. Through my childhood I have loved completing word puzzles, I have many fond memories of doing word searches with my grandfather, suduko with my father and crossword puzzles with my grandmother. I believe this has broadened my perspective on life and allows me to problem solve more efficiently.
