Hi, I’m Kate Stevens, an enthusiastic and dedicated science teacher! I love helping students explore the world of science in engaging and innovative ways. My goal is to make learning science exciting through hands-on experiments, real-world applications, and stimulating problem-solving activities that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy exploring nature, reading science articles, and experimenting with new ideas, which keeps my mind curious and creative. I graduated with a degree in Master of Arts in Teaching- Biology Education, where I gained a strong foundation in scientific concepts, teaching strategies, and classroom management. Lower level: Maths and 11+ (entrance and SATs) GCSE: Biology (AQA would be preferred) and Maths I am fluent in Turkish and currently learning French. My preferred age groups would be 11-16 (up until GCSE) I am 23 years old, with a lot of educational experience surrounding Maths and Science that I would love to transfer to my students. I believe that learning should be fun for all and strive to ensure my students are enjoying their individually tailored lessons. My hobbies include going to the gym and baking. I am a Physician Associate Master’s graduate from City, St George's, with a background in Biomedical Sciences (Immunology) at Brunel University of London. I'm a 5th year medical student based in London, with thirteen years of tutoring experience. Currently studying (MEng) Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering at the University of Sheffield, I am a dedicated Maths and Physics tutor, with around an 2-3 years total experience in person and online, helping students build confidence and achieve top grades.
