Hi! I'm Alfa. GCSE: Chemistry, Biology, Maths A-Level: Preferred student age group: upto GCSEs I enjoy watching medical documentaries, playing board games, meeting new people, travelling, trying different food, baking (sometimes), and I can speak 3 languages: English, Hindi and Konkani. Teaching is also what I enjoy. In the past, I had set up a revision group with a few of my friends, and helped them get their first A grade in the final GCSE exam! My lessons are very interactive, and I am open to any ideas to make them even better. To succeed, I believe a strong foundation is the key, which is why I work on the basics first with my students, before moving to the harder concepts. Homeworks and revisiting topics will help retain the information. Lastly, I will prepare them for topics that haven't yet been covered in class, so that they are ahead of their peers. 11 GCSEs: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Statistics, Geography, French, Art, English Language, English Literature, IT. 3 A-Levels: Chemistry, Biology and Physics 1 AS Level: Maths I am currently an undergrad 5th-year student studying Medicine.

My name is Hayden, and I am a current student at the University of Lincoln, I am studying for a BA in Accounting and Finance. I am passionate about this subject as my 2 favourite subjects at GCSE and A-level were Maths and Economics and my course is a perfect combination of both. Problem solving is my favourite aspect of maths whereas Economics interests me as it applies problem solving to the economy and it affects everyone from governments to the consumer. My favourite hobby is travelling and experiencing different cultures. There is so much to learn and experience from visiting different countries and people. Travelling feels rewarding and expands your knowledge and appreciation. My tutor sessions will begin with a consolidating question from the previous weeks content to check that the student still understands the content. The main part of the lesson will be content and there will be integrated practice questions throughout. I will always end the lessons with a small quiz on the topic covered in the lesson. The results will determine next week’s lesson based on the students understanding. When tutoring students, I believe the most important thing is to have a creative and innovative approach to enable the students to understand and engage in the lesson. I achieved high GCSE's and A Levels in maths, and I am currently predicted a 1st class honours degree in Accounting and Finance. I have been tutoring for the past 2 years and really enjoy the rewarding feeling of helping students achieve their goals. I can help students build their confidence and knowledge in maths, and help them with revision and exam techniques. My aim is to make the lesson as beneficial as possible for the student and each students lesson is tailored to their preferences and abilities.

As someone who was born and raised in Germany, I have a deep understanding and appreciation for the German language. Over the course of my educational journey, I have taken German classes throughout my school years, including GCSE and A-Level (IB). My passion for the language and desire to share my knowledge with others led me to start tutoring German. Having been tutoring for a year now, I have gained valuable experience and insight into the best approaches for helping students learn and master the language. I believe that learning a language is an incredibly valuable skill that opens doors to new cultures and experiences, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their language goals. As someone who has always been fascinated by the natural world, I have pursued my passion for biology through my academic studies. I have taken biology classes throughout my school years, including during my GCSE's and A-Levels (IB), achieving high marks in each of these courses. In my experience, I have found that many students struggle with the complex concepts and terminology in biology, which is why I have chosen to start tutoring the subject. My goal as a biology tutor is to help students not only understand the material, but to also cultivate a love for the subject. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces and using engaging teaching methods, I aim to help my students develop a strong foundation in biology that they can carry with them throughout their academic and professional careers. As someone who is currently studying business management at university, I have a passion for the field and a deep understanding of the concepts and principles that underlie it. I have been tutoring business to GCSE and A-level students for some time now, and it has been a truly rewarding experience. I believe that the key to success in business is a combination of sound theoretical knowledge and practical experience, and I aim to impart both to my students. By breaking down complex concepts into manageable pieces, I make sure that my students understand the material thoroughly, and by using real-life examples and case studies, I help them develop the practical skills they need to succeed in the field. My ultimate goal is to inspire my students to develop a lifelong interest in business and to help them achieve their academic and professional goals. I've taken German as an IGCSE subject and also studied it for one of my standard levels for the International Baccalaureate. Being able to attend an International School allowed me to also fluently speak English. I have been given the opportunity to tutor some students before.

Lower Level: Maths and English GCSE: Economics A-Level: Economics Higher Level: Excel, and Powerpoint Hello, I am Frances! Do you need a teacher who is patient, thorough, and enthusiastic about helping you improve your skills? As someone who has been and still is a student, I understand the struggles that students face with learning. My aim is to help students tackle their learning challenges, unlock their potential, and put them on a path that fosters continual growth. I am particular about understanding the individual needs of my students by using effective communication and problem-solving skills to tailor my teaching to address these needs. **TSH** I work as a TSH due to my years of experience as a teacher and my ability to empathise with students of all ages, including primary school students. My strength lies in the Sciences to GCSE level; especially Biology which I can teach to A Level. I can make the student feel at ease and motivate them to learn more. I break down content which enables students to feel in control of their learning and responsible for it. I adapt to students needs and manipulate my teaching style to empower and engage the student. This makes the sessions fun and knowledgeable. Hi everyone! My name is Chloé Lusandu. I was born in Paris France and grew up on London UK. I speak French and English fluently. I Graduated with Honours in Biomedical Science in 2018. Since then, I have been teaching Advanced Biology in English to students who are learning English as a second language. It been a great experience learning from students while they learn from me! In my free time I enjoy reading, playing sports, learning new languages. I have recently been starting to learn Arabic, its quiet fun, but challenging pronouncing the letters. I also really love animals, some of my free time is spent entertaining my cat. I also play the piano (not very well :D), but it is something I learnt by myself and practiced in high school. The sports I have been enjoying lately are solo sports like roller skating, going to the gym in the mornings, swimming. However, I also like playing team sports. I was on a few sport teams when I was younger, like rounders and netball. I also spend a lot of my time catching up with family and friends, either on the phone/video call or watching something through Netflix party. Tutoring wise I am confident that I can support your learning in the sciences till GCSE at any age group. Subjects I specialize in till A Levels would be Biology. Whatever support you would require, whether that be content reviewing, help with your homework, or prepping for assignments/exams, or just improving your confidence in a subject I am here to support you! ** TS Hero ** GCSE: Biology A-Level: Biology Exam board exp: AQA, Edexcel, OCR, BTEC Level 2 Experience with: KS1 / KS2 / KS3 / 11+ / Home Schooling till GCSE in Science. Tutor is bringing out the best in my autistic grandson. As well as the work he learns he is becoming more confident . He now knows he can do things when taught in a way he can understand. He is comfortable enough to communicate if he doesn't and the teacher explains in a different way.
