Hi! My name is Hridita and I am currently a medical student. I have around 6 years experience tutoring students from KS1 to GCSE level. I mainly focus on teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics because these are the subjects I enjoy the most and have gained the experience teaching. I was an MSK physiotherapist undergoing a career change to educational psychology. I am completing an MSc in psychology in Bristol and hope to do the doctorate afterwards to work in schools helping children with realising their educational potential. I believe that this experience puts me in a great position to share my knowledge to help other students because I know what is needed in order to excel in these subjects. I always like to focus on what you as a student need help with to ensure that you get the most out of every lesson, and spend as much time making progress as possible I would describe myself as methodical and systematic and I think my teaching style reflects this. First, I like to ensure that there is an understanding of the key principles of the topic. Then I like to break questions down and look at the key steps in the method for that question type. I think that repetition is extremely important and the key to mastering a particular topic is encountering as many different variations of questions as possible. So this is what I will encourage.
