Hello! I'm Maddy, I'm 23 years old currently completing my Master's in Public Health at Cardiff University. I completed my undergraduate degree in Population Health and Medical Sciences at Swansea University, where I obtained First Class Honours. My hobbies and interests include health and fitness... primarily because I also love to bake. I also enjoy reading and socializing with friends! My guilty pleasures include: binge watching TV series (usually the same ones over and over again) and scrolling through TikTok for hours on end. I can assure you that whilst I loved studying biology, it wasn't without its challenges. I have first hand experience in building confidence for both day-to-day lessons and preparing for all aspects of exams. I myself, was tutored for A-level Biology, an experience that proved invaluable in aiding my understanding and providing tools for self directed study across all subject areas. This transpired onto my further academic studying as well. I endeavor to not only aid in the learning of a subject but also reflect and teach these fundamental tools in the tuition I provide. It would be great to help another student, whatever their age or aspirations for their chosen subject may be. Subjects: Lower level: science GCSE: Biology, English Literature / Language A-level: Biology, Psychology

My name is Laura. I am a final year medical student at Trinity College Dublin. I am living in Dublin, Ireland. I've been providing tutoring in Maths for the last 5 years. I achieved grade A+ in my leaving Certificate Maths examination. I have taught students of all levels, from primary school to Leaving Certificate/A Level standard. My approach to lessons is tailored to each individual student. First I identify the areas in which the student may be struggling with or in which the student would benefit from tutoring in. My tutoring sessions are student centered and I move at a pace that suits each student. I encourage the student to attempt sample questions during the session in order for me to assess their understanding. I adapt my teaching plan to the goals of the student and suggest questions for the student to complete in-between sessions. I have recently worked to develop a student e-learning platform (www.studentgrinds.ie). I have also created youtube videos on my account 'Laura Kehoe' (youtube user ID:HmzZLwmKOZwL3SV-aONyig ) showcasing the solutions to maths exam questions for students. I am happy to answer any questions you may have in relation to tutoring sessions. Outside of my studies, I enjoy horse-riding and running.

I am Hamdan Ahmed Sheikh, a medical student at Cardiff University tutoring GCSE students in the sciences and maths. I believe that the main role of tutoring is to cater to a student’s individual needs and my sessions will be planned with this in mind. We will work together to find areas of strength and improvement in your learning and work to address each of them so that you can get the best possible results in your exams. Having completed my A-level exams in June 2023, I am aware of the requirements of the current curriculum and the demands this places on a student. I also know that a student’s time is valuable and will keep classes on track with the lesson plans we create together to ensure that all the required content can be covered. As well as the scheduled sessions, I am open to communication outside of this time if you need help with any questions or need some advice on how to approach a topic. I hope to meet you soon so we can work together to make sure you achieve the grades you want. I have eight GCSEs which I completed in 2021. I have four A-levels in the following subjects: biology, chemistry, physics, and maths. I completed my A-levels in 2023 and am currently in my third year of completing a degree in medicine at Cardiff University.

The subjects I specialize in are Irish and English. I would like to teach English to lower level , younger students as I think this is the demographic that I would suit best. I would like to teach Irish up to Junior cert level. I attended school in Ireland , and therefore have an accurate knowledge of what junior cert students need to know for their Irish Exam, I know that there is an huge emphasis on oral Irish for the junior cert also. This would be my area of expertise as I am a fluent speaker. I would also be happy to teach Irish to younger, primary school children. I would also have a good knowledge of the Irish primary system and would be able to teach accordingly. I am a native English speaker. My official level of Irish is B2 certified, but I would say that I am a C1 speaker. I also speak French at a B1 level. I am 20 years old. I am from Dingle , in the Irish Ghaeltacht of Corca Dhuibhne, and I learned my Irish growing up here. I undertook my leaving certificate through Irish. I was always a person who loved languages and while my education was mostly through Irish , my favorite class was English. I am studying commerce with French at university college cork. This year I am on Erasmus in Grenoble in France as part of my degree. I would describe myself as a dedicated person who enjoys a challenge. I have high standards for myself and academically , I always like to fulfil my potential. I am also extremely extraverted and sociable and meeting people is something which brings me joy rather than fear. Outside of academics , I am an athletic person and I love being outdoors. I have played Gaelic football since I was 8. I also have previous experience in coaching football to underage boys and girls. I have recently picked up skiing in Grenoble. I like to read in my spare time and listen to podcasts. I am hugely interested in culture and language , and have had a great opportunity to meet people from all over the world , while improving my French here in Grenoble.
