I'm also an avid reader gravitated towards the fantasy genre, personally I am a fan of Lord of The Rings, as well as all the other stories that J.R.R.Tolkien had written for the world of Arda, A Song of Ice & Fire is also another favourite of mine delving into a deep and dark setting, with a more pronounced adult tone, building a vast expansive world full of mystery, eldritch horror and slight bits of magic scattered around, while still emphasising the realistic nature of humans. Anime is one of my first passions an introduction to the Japanese language in the form of animation, flashy visuals and cultural phenomena that paved a path for the youth of my generation the art and creativity put into those shows has really instilled the same characteristics in me. I'm Joe a, final year politics student at the Univeristy of Liverpool. During my time at university and before I've enjoyed tutoring originally only in person but for the last three years with GoStudent, aside from this, I'm currently involved with multiple societies such as the Ski, Badminton and Pool societies. Moreover, my interest in politics and social sciences is not confined to my degree, I enjoy reading on these topics outside of the University reading list, particularly history. Through this variety of interests, tutoring is something which simultaneously benefits from them and aids them by expanding my own understanding of these topics. Therefore tutoring is more akin to a hobby than a job for me due to my enjoyment of it. Throughout, my academic career I have enjoyed a wide range of subjects. originally my interests were only in history, and although this is still a favourite, my areas of knowledge have grown more varied. For instance, I'm now studying politics at university, which has been a great eye-opener. Furthermore studying politics has brought me into contact with more areas of study such as economics, media, business and geography. However, I have studied all of these to varying levels before university. My interest has led to me attaining a 2:1 grade each year of study. Moreover last year I spent a year in industry at Liverpool City Council putting the theory into practice further adding to my understanding of all the subjects mentioned above.
