I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I also teach ESL to all age groups. At the moment, I am learning French and I'm currently on a B1 level in my language development.

Hi! I'm Archie and I'm a GCSE, iGCSE, AS Level and A-Level maths tutor currently studying Mathematics and Finance at university with a current first prediction. I truly enjoy tutoring students who struggle with maths and specialise in improving predicted grades. I used to struggle with maths when I was younger but that's because I didn't understand it and now I do I'm planning on pursuing a career in it and would love to help other students get to the same level that I'm at. I attended Haileybury as my secondary school where I gained 10 GCSEs gaining 7s, 8s, and 9s and I studied maths, physics and computer science at a-level get ABB respectively. I am now at the University of York studying mathematics and finance with a current first class prediction. I specialise in improve predicted grades by studying and fully understanding the mark schemes. My favourite maths topics are calculus, mechanics, and trigonometric functions.

Additionally, I am passionate about child psychology and have read extensively on the subject to deepen my understanding of how children learn.
