Hi, I'm Neha, a medical student at King's College London with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. My tutoring style is patient, supportive and structured. I achieved A* grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics at A Level, and Grade 9s in all 10 GCSE subjects, including Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English, and Computer Science. My academic achievements include Bronze awards in both the UK Biology Olympiad and UK Chemistry Olympiad (2024), Gold awards in the UKMT Mathematics Challenge (2019–2021), a Silver award in 2022, a Bronze Award in the Advanced Level UK Linguistics Olympiad (2023), and a High Merit in Grade 6 LAMDA Public Speaking (2024). I was also the winner of the Behavioural Sciences category at my school Science Fair. Hi, I’m Maite! I’m a native German speaker and teach German at all levels — Primary, GCSE, and A-Level. Besides German and English, I also speak French and Spanish. I hold a BA in Cultural Studies with a minor in Educational Science, which deepened my understanding of cross-cultural learning, communication, and how to make complex ideas accessible. During my time at university, I spent over three years tutoring children of different ages, working in a programme led by the German federal government to support children from migrant and refugee backgrounds in their school learning. I am now excited to work with adults as well. When I think back to my own school years, the teachers who inspired me most were those whose honest passion made even my least favourite subjects enjoyable. That’s the atmosphere I aim to create in my lessons: engaging, light, and enjoyable. Outside tutoring, I teach meditation and mindfulness and support a charity creatively, which helps me bring patience, flexibility, and creativity into my teaching. I tailor lessons to each student — whether you need grammar support, speaking practice, exam preparation, or a personalised lesson to build confidence at your own pace, or simply want to learn German out of interest and enjoyment. I have a Qualified Teacher Status to work in UK schools and I have 22 years of work experience in the UK, Greece and Cyprus.

For about 6 years and about 4000 hours of teaching experience, I have helped several students turn their grades around in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths for GCSE and A-Levels. I have an ESL certification (TEFL/TESOL), which helps me communicate best with non-native speakers. I combine actual study content with relevant past papers, quizzes, and tips that have consistently helped my students quickly improve their grades, drawing from my firsthand experience of the struggles these subjects can present and my own journey of steadily turning my grades around.
