Hi my name is Jesse, I’m a 33 year old German national that has lived in the UK since the age of 12. I work in IT where I speak German on a daily basis. I have been informally tutoring since 2010. I have been tutoring university level German but I’m comfortable with teaching any level of German 😀. I attended the university of Birmingham to complete my Masters in International Relations, after I completed my degree in International Business and German. I’m a passionate tutor who genuinely loves teaching and helping students grow in confidence. My lessons are fun, engaging, and educational, and I always adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s needs. Outside of tutoring, I love Pilates it keeps me focused, energised, and balanced, which I bring into my teaching as well. I hold a Master’s degree in Information Technology with Data Analytics, which I completed with Distinction at the University of the West of Scotland. Through this program, I developed a strong foundation in core IT principles alongside advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. My studies covered areas such as data analysis, data management, information systems, and the practical application of technology to real-world problems.

Hello, my name is Alex. I am a first year student studying Economics at the University of Leeds. In my spare time, I like to play football, as well as go to the gym and go out with my friends. I also enjoy watching football, and I support Manchester United. I have tutored 6 different students over the past 2 years for GCSE maths, with a variety of skill levels, but all of them achieving their target grades or higher. I went to Sir John Lawes School for both secondary school and sixth form. I achieved 5 8s and 5 9s in my GCSEs and A* A* A at A level. I’m now studying Economics BSC at the University of Leeds. I have always been passionate for maths and it has been both my strongest and favourite subject throughout my entire school life. I won the KS3 maths award.
