I am a dedicated student of Mathematics and Actuarial Science with a strong passion for problem-solving and analytical thinking. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps—an approach I bring into my tutoring sessions. Outside of academics, I have a keen interest in sports including football, badminton, snooker, and golf. Before university, I completed my A Levels at St Dominic’s Sixth Form College, achieving an A in both Mathematics and Chemistry—subjects I now tutor. My success in these subjects has given me the confidence and insight to support students in mastering challenging concepts and developing effective exam strategies. I completed my GCSEs at Pinner High School, earning 11 GCSEs at grades 9 to 7, including top marks in Maths and the Sciences. This academic foundation has given me a strong understanding of the UK curriculum and the expectations of exam boards. Having recently been through the school and sixth form system myself, I am well placed to relate to students and provide guidance that is both up-to-date and practical. I aim to create a calm, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, tackle their weaknesses, and build confidence in their abilities.

Hi! My name is Sarah! I am an undergraduate biochemistry student who has done a year of Bsc chemistry! I do tutoring as my part time job/full time job during the summer! I am a patient and understanding tutor who had worked with many students through a school programme on a different platform and I'm now branching out to private tuition! I have experience with many exam boards, and many different types of students, including SEND. I pride myself on my ability to make subjects make sense and adapt my teaching style to my students' needs! I tutor biology and chemistry from primary to A-Level, English is only offered at GCSE. Physics and maths it tutored primary to GCSE. I have done a range of GCSEs, including triple science, higher maths, and English lit and lang. I received all 7s, 8s, and 9s. Hello. I'm Debs, nice to meet you. I tutor a range of subjects, all based on experience of teaching within school, college and less tradiitional settings. I love tutoring one to one as that is the best way to give the student exactly what they need. I teach Sociology, Business and English at GCSE and A level and I have experience of AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I have also taught Btec Business level 1-3 In 2023 I completed a Master's degree in Philosophy as I love learning new things just as much as I love to teach. I make learning fun wherever possible and tailor every lesson to the student's needs.
