Hi! I am a dedicated and friendly maths tutor with 3 years of experience supporting students at KS3, GCSE, and A-level. I focus on helping students build confidence, deepen their understanding, and improve exam technique in both pure and applied maths. I am confident working with all major UK exam boards, including Edexcel, AQA, and OCR, and I tailor my sessions to match each student's syllabus and learning style. I have helped learners prepare effectively for GCSE and A-level exams, often helping them improve by a grade or more. Currently, I am studying Law at the University of Leeds, which sharpens my logical thinking and communication skills, which directly enhances my tutoring. Also the proud owner of several plants which are surviving surprisingly well; and I always seem to have a couple of creative projects on the go. Hi, I’m Stephen, a passionate and determined educator who loves learning and sharing that enthusiasm with others. I strive to create a learning space filled with curiosity and wonder, whether in literature or the sciences, helping students explore, question, and grow. Watching my students progress step by step and reach new heights is what drives me as a teacher. Outside of teaching, I’m a gamer, a photographer, and a farmer. Lately, I’ve also been diving into writing, exploring storytelling as another way to inspire and create. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology, majoring in microbiology. Throughout my studies, I had multiple opportunities to tutor others, which sparked my passion for education. Later, I branched out into teaching English to ESL students, where I found great fulfillment in helping learners grow in confidence and communication. Each year, my experience deepens, becoming more specialized as I refine my approach to teaching. My name is Arcel, and I’m 29 years old. I'm a Math teacher but I can also teach Science (Biology & Chemistry) and Sociology. I like also playing basketball and guitar—two activities that allow me to express myself creatively and stay active. Whether it’s on the basketball court or playing my favorite songs, I enjoy the challenge and the connections these hobbies bring.
