As a passionate and dedicated tutor, I'm excited to help students succeed in Mathematics, Computer Science, and 11+ preparation. While I'm new to tutoring, my fresh perspective and enthusiasm for teaching are matched by a strong understanding of the subjects I teach. Went to Nower Hill High School and completed 11 GCSEs with grades 9 in Maths, Physics and Computer Science and grades 8 in Further Maths, Chemistry and Business Studies. Just completed A level in Maths Physics and Computer Science at Nower Hill in 2024.

I am a results-oriented, dedicated, and enthusiastic individual with strong interpersonal skills who has maintained a positive attitude in all situations. I enjoy learning new things, taking on challenges, and finding practical solutions to problems. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I bring a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to doing my best. My role of Head Girl at my past school, St John's College allowed me to improve my time management skills as I had to balance this role alongside my A Level examinations and UCAS deadlines. I've been a ballet dancer since the age of 4 and have completed my Grade 8 aswell as my Intermediate qualification. I've also completed my RAD Assistant Teacher Training course which helped my organisational skills and highlights my dedication to teaching others. I want to teach because I enjoy helping others understand topics they once found difficult and seeing their confidence grow. Maths can feel intimidating, and I find it rewarding to break concepts down in a clear, supportive way that makes learning feel achievable. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while making a positive, practical difference to students’ academic journeys. Hello! My name is Grettah, and I’m a passionate English teacher with a love for helping students grow in confidence and communication. I have experience teaching learners of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals — whether that’s improving conversation skills, pronunciation, grammar, or writing. I believe learning English should be enjoyable and meaningful, so I use real-life topics, games, and storytelling to make every class engaging. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, traveling, and exploring new cultures, which helps me bring a global perspective into my lessons. I’m patient, encouraging, and committed to helping my students achieve success in English — step by step! I completed my matric at Meridian College in 2010. I went on to further my studies at Pearson Institute where I completed a BA degree majoring in English and Psychology in 2017. I am currently an undergraduate for a Bachelor of Education at the University of South Africa. I have been teaching English online since 2021.
