ABOUT ME I have a deep interest in history, human and physical geography, anthropology, technology, architecture and engineering. I especially enjoy the history and geography of languages and language families. I'm into all sorts of things if I'm honest. I am a keen traveller (but who isn't nowadays), audiophile and technophile, with a love for all kinds of technologies, analogue and digital, new and old. Thanks to COVID I learnt a lot of DIY skills through necessity. My house also has a garden full of fruit trees, so I guess that would make me an amateur gardener by default. I try to keep fit by cycling when possible, but my favourite sport is swimming. TEACHING EXPERIENCE/PREFERENCES The subjects I teach are History, English Literature and Language for GCSE and A-level, as well as ESL English. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Exam Board Experience: Experience of all English assessment boards, but especially AQA and Edexcel in the, and WJEC/Eduqas and OCR to a lesser extent. Languages: English: as a first language to advanced/professional level. Turkish: fluent to college level, but nor advanced enough for teaching purposes.

Hi, I’m Ryn Delaine, an enthusiastic and student-centered math teacher! I love helping students explore the world of mathematics in a way that is simple, engaging, and meaningful. My goal is to make learning math less intimidating and more enjoyable through step-by-step explanations, real-life applications, and interactive problem-solving that spark curiosity and build confidence in my students. In my free time, I enjoy singing and playing the guitar, which help me stay creative, relaxed, and bring positive energy into my teaching. I graduated with a degree in Mathematics Education as a Cum Laude, where I gained a strong foundation in mathematical theories, teaching strategies, and classroom management. My studies equipped me with the skills to create engaging lessons, address diverse learning styles, and foster a supportive learning environment that encourages every student to excel.

Hey, My name is Mahammadzaid but my preferred name is Zaid, Highly experienced tutor for Maths and Further Maths. I have experience in both Online and in-person tutoring. Positive feedbacks from my previous students as well as supervisors. Passionate about Learning and teaching Maths. Taught students in after school convention in different schools. Currently studying BSc Maths and Data science at City UoL. I attended Newham sixth form college for my GCSEs as well as A levels. I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.
