I’m currently a medical student and I really like passing my knowledge to young people and helping them achieve the goals that they want. I aspire to create a safe, friendly environment for students, where they can ask me for help whenever. With a deep passion for education, I strive to instil not only knowledge but also critical thinking skills and confidence in my students. I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. I have about a year of tutoring experience from beforehand, and i have worked at ExploreLearning for a few months.

I’m someone who really enjoys learning and helping others do the same. I’m patient, reliable, and always happy to explain things in a way that makes sense. There are 2 things I have loved all my life- reading and music. As such, I play 3 instruments (Trombone, Guitar and Piano), love to sing all kinds of music and dance as often as I can. I also love reading all kinds of things- from Journal articles, to English literature, manga to comic books and even encyclopaedias about insects and animals! I also rather love technology, and love using technology to learn and help others learn. Furthermore, I like talking to different people and I'm a good listener. I have a Bachelors and Honours in Chiropractic and have just completed my Masters in Chiropractic, making me a fully qualified practitioner. During sixth form, I took part in a project called Maths Masterclasses, where I helped design and deliver lessons to primary school students. Planning my presentation required careful thought about structure, clarity, and how to challenge the students beyond their curriculum. I also completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), researching how education strategies can be used in children’s medicine to give children and their carers better understanding of health. Techniques like “teach back,” where students explain a topic in their own words, have stuck with me as important tools for reinforcing learning. More informally, I’ve often found myself helping friends understand difficult topics, and I’ve learnt how to adapt my explanations depending on who I’m speaking to. These experiences have made me realise how much I enjoy teaching, especially when I can find the right approach to make a tricky concept click. I try to make sessions engaging but focused, and I’m always thinking about how to present information clearly and logically. Away from study, I really enjoy football - I love playing fantasy league and keeping up with scores. I also like to read non fiction (especially Wikipedia these days!) to broaden my knowledge on a wide range of topics. Alongside my A-levels, I gained a range of casual experience during college. I took part in an extracurricular programme called Maths Masterclasses, where I prepared worksheets and delivered presentations to primary school students, helping stretch their understanding of Maths beyond the standard curriculum. I was also a member of the Virtual Medical Society, working with other aspiring medical students to create presentations on topics such as medical current affairs, admission exams, and aspects of the application process. This helped me develop the ability to communicate with clarity and confidence. In addition, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and was awarded an A* for my work. My project, titled The Role of Health Literacy in Preventative Children's Medicine, deepened my understanding of the educational principles used in healthcare and how they can be applied within broader educational contexts.
