At GCSE, i achieved 10 grades all 9-7, including 9s in both English Language and English Literature, and an 8 in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Combined Science.

Hi, I’m Safoora, currently a second-year medical student with a strong passion for education across a range of subjects. Medicine has taught me not just the importance of hard work, but also how to communicate complex ideas clearly and patiently — skills I bring into my tutoring sessions. I tutor GCSE Biology, chemistry, combined science and psychology, as well as KS3 and KS2 Science. I understand that subjects like biology and chemistry can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into manageable, straightforward steps tailored to how each student learns best. I’m genuinely passionate about helping students build confidence and develop a deeper understanding so they’re fully prepared to tackle any challenges they face in exams. I believe learning should be interactive, engaging, and relevant, so I work to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Whether it’s helping with exam preparation or simply tackling tricky topics, my aim is to support students in developing critical thinking skills that will benefit them far beyond the classroom. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading and keeping fit, which help me maintain balance and stay motivated. I received my early education at three different primary schools, which provided me with a strong academic foundation. I then completed my GCSEs at a college and pursued A-levels at a community school. I am now a second-year medical student at the University of Nottingham.

Hi :) My name is Samee Chowdhury. I'm from London and currently a 5th year Medical student, and if there's one thing that medicine has taught me, it's how to break down complexity into something anyone can understand — and that's exactly what I bring to every tutoring session. I've been tutoring for several years across Primary, 13+, and GCSE level Maths, Science, and English, working with students from all ends of the spectrum; from high achievers pushing for top grades, to students with ADHD, autism, and other SEN needs. Every student is different, and I genuinely enjoy figuring out what clicks and what doesn't. My approach is straightforward: I'll be honest with you about where you are, realistic about what we can achieve together, and fully committed to squeezing the best out of your potential. No cookie-cutter lesson plans here. Every session is built around you, adapted in real time to what's working and what isn't. Outside of medicine and tutoring, football and sport are a huge part of who I am. I attended Brampton Manor Academy for my A levels where I did Biology, Chemistry, Physics and AS level Mathematics. I am also familiar with the grammar school entry exams (11+) as I sat them myself as a child and have tutored kids for them in the past

Levels & Subjects: Primary: Mathematics GCSE: Mathematics (AQA, EDEXCEL, OCR) Experience : Taught GCSE and Primary Maths for 3 years Hello, my name is Pelumi and I recently graduated from a Masters in Investment Banking at Queen Mary University of London. The reason I chose to study this because it included using a lot of technical and problem-solving methods, it also included a lot of Mathematics which was one of my favourite subjects at school. I would say Algebra is one of my strong areas and I completed the Level 3 Edexcel Algebra award in secondary school. When I teach I primarily use a lot of worksheets and exam-style questions which will help the student improve on the subject and feel better prepared for any upcoming exams. If a student is struggling to understand a concept , I use diagrams, videos and allow them to have more practise until they are comfortable with the topics. Preferred subject: Maths Preferred student age group: GCSE My hobbies include reading, travelling, drawing, exercising and I love food and music!
