Alongside my English Literature degree, I am a competitive middle-distance athlete and worked within the executive team, as VP of Sport, on my college committee at the University of York. I also enjoyed my role as a course ambassador, speaking to prospective students and parents at open days about studying English at Undergraduate level and university life in general. While at University, I began teaching English Literature and Language via zoom, primarily to GCSE students, with the hope of tutoring at A-Level too. My sessions are always based on the personal areas that each individual student wishes to focus on, to consolidate or enhance their understanding of the given topic. In my GCSEs, I achieved a grade 9 in the following subjects: English Literature, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Latin, History, Religious Studies and Computer Science, with an 8 in Chemistry.
