Hello, I'm Jonathon, I'm an experienced tutor and teacher of Science (and occasionally P.E) with a passion to ensure that all students are able to reach their full potential. I qualified as a teacher in 2021 and I have been teaching and tutoring in Science (and P.E) since then and I have experience with the four major exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC) and at both the foundation & higher tiers for combined and separate science. Outside of teaching/tutoring, I spend most of my time travelling or involved with sport. My academic background includes a PGCE in Secondary Education (specialising in Science), a BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Sport and Health Science as well as an FdSc degree in Sports Science and Injury Management. These are all in addition to A levels and GCSE’s in Science. My experience is a total of over 5 years teaching experience and 4 years experience tutoring in the subject of Science. Additionally I have a further 7 years experience working exclusively with SEND students.

My journey began by excelling in mathematics during high school, which led me to study actuarial science at university. Hi there! My name is Molly, and I am a 22 year old graduate from the University of Manchester currently living in London. I studied History, a subject that I feel has equipped me with numerous transferable skills that make me an excellent tutor. It is analytical, requires the development of strong verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills, and the ability to build structured responses to fascinating and relevant topical themes. On a more personal note, I would like to pursue a career in teaching, and gaining experience in working one on one with students would be a positive addition to building up my confidence and abilities. I then went to Trinity School in Croydon for sixth form and obtained a 50% academic scholarship, both the highest scholarship offered, and a rare one to receive. I was awarded an A* in my Politics A-level, and two A’s in both History and Religious Studies. Finally, I studied History at the University of Manchester and obtained a 2:1 (second class, division one).

I’m a chemistry student who loves literature, music and all things mathematical (especially when combined with physics!) I started tutoring 2 years ago part time while studying at college.
