I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. Hi my name is Jane, I’m 19 years old. I am currently a student at the university of Nottingham studying politics and economics. I have a passion for tutoring children helping them to get their desired targets. My specialist subjects are Maths, Chemistry, and Biology I attended Rugby school for the last 5 years before going to the university of Nottingham studying politics and economics. I am a fourth-year medical student with a strong passion for helping others achieve their academic goals. While I was always a relatively capable student, I learned early on that success didn’t come without hard work, sacrifice, and most importantly, support. During a particularly challenging period in my studies, I met a tutor who completely revitalised my passion for learning and helped me reach my potential. That experience shaped who I am today and inspired me to do the same for others. Hi, I’m Emma! I’m currently studying Biochemistry with French at university, and I really enjoy helping students understand difficult topics in a clear and simple way. I’m patient, organised, and good at adapting explanations depending on how each student learns best. I especially enjoy biology, chemistry, and languages, and I always try to make lessons encouraging and confidence-building. I also like helping students become more organised, build good study habits, and learn how to learn independently, so they feel more prepared for exams and future education. Outside of studying, I enjoy travelling, art, sport, and meeting new people. I am currently studying Biochemistry with French at the University of Manchester, which has given me a strong academic background in biology, chemistry, scientific writing, and problem-solving. Hi, I’m Maja! (Pronounced Maya). I’m an astrophysics graduate and a qualified secondary school science teacher. I’ve been through the full rollercoaster of science education, from fighting my way through a master’s degree and emerging with first-class honours, to teaching Year 9s on a Friday afternoon who would rather be anywhere else. Now I help GCSE and A-Level students believe what I already know: you can do this. My goal is to make science feel understandable, interesting, and even a bit fun. When I’m not teaching, you'll find me hanging upside down on an aerial hoop, or writing stories inspired by science and folklore. I went to secondary school in Hungary, where I was initially more interested in the humanities, until I fell in love with space and modern physics. For my leaving qualifications, I completed Advanced Exams in Mathematics and Physics and achieved an A. At university, I completed an integrated Master of Physics degree at the University of Southampton. My first three years focused on general physics (including lab work, mechanics, quantum physics, solid state physics, and wave physics) with a few modules of astronomy. During my master’s year, I had the incredible opportunity to conduct research at the Harvard & Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, where I studied the relationship between black holes and their host galaxies and wrote my thesis on this topic. I graduated with first-class honours in Astrophysics. After university, I felt drawn to education and wanted to help students grasp the beauty of science, so I completed a year of school-centred initial teacher training. I now hold a PGCE with QTS as a qualified science teacher.

Hello my name is Edward, I am currently a third year undergraduate studying Mechanical Engineering at UCL. I have multiple years of tutoring experience and I'm here to help assist fellow students. I have many hobbies, I enjoy keeping fit by practising kickboxing and going to the gym regularly. I also play guitar and have a passion for music.
