I am dual British and South African. I was born and raised in South Africa and came to the UK in 2014. I am a full time mum to two special needs children. I studied Marketing with combined distance/ face to face learning while working full time. Before children, I worked in various administrative and sales jobs, in Call Centre, Imports, Advertising and Financial Planning. For fun and exercise I enjoy gardening, swimming and Pilates. When I was younger, I enjoyed Horse Riding and competed in Show Jumping and Cross Country at Pony Club level. I love animals and have a menagerie of pets with a small dog, a cat, 7 hens and an aquarium. My eldest son and are keen Formula 1 fans. He supports Max Verstappen and I support Lewis Hamilton. Recently I signed up for Edexel GCSE Math and found that, actually, I enjoyed Math! My experience of Math at High School was not great – the teacher taught in a wrote-style and was so boring, I had the same teacher for all 5 years of High School, the classes were large. I hope to share my enjoyment of Math so that you, too, can enjoy Math.

Hi! I am Sanjana, an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge with a huge passion to work with students to aid them gain confidence in a wide range of subjects. Having tutored in the past with children aged 4 - 16, I aim to work with the student on an individual level ensuring we work together, at the students own pace and way of learning. Aside from tutoring and study, I love creating in terms of art/design as well as in cooking, walking and listening to music! I am studying Biotechnology at the University of Nottingham and have been tutoring students from KS2 to A-Level for two years. Hey! I’m Gus 😊 I’m a friendly and supportive French tutor currently studying Economics and French at the University of Warwick. I’m on my year abroad and recently studied in Martinique in the Caribbean, and I’m currently undertaking a research internship in Quebec — experiences that have really helped me bring the language to life and understand different cultures. I know learning a language can sometimes feel intimidating, so my lessons focus on building confidence and making French feel enjoyable and achievable. I like adapting my teaching style to each student so lessons feel relaxed, engaging and tailored to how they learn best. I teach French at pretty much all levels — from beginners and Key Stage students through GCSE, iGCSE and IB, right up to AS and A Level. Whether you’re preparing for exams, improving speaking confidence, or just trying to feel less nervous about French, I’ll always aim to make lessons clear, supportive and practical. Outside of academics, I enjoy bringing real-life language and culture into lessons so students can see how French works beyond the classroom. I’m Isabella, a friendly biology and chemistry tutor as well and a full-time biomedical science student at Lancaster University.
