I am fluent in English and Urdu, which allows me to connect with students from diverse backgrounds. I also have experience managing and teaching students with special educational needs, creating a supportive and adaptive environment for learners who may face unique challenges. My focus is on helping students from primary school through to A-Levels build confidence, develop a love for learning, and achieve academic success. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Forman Christian College (University), a prestigious institution known for its rigorous academic standards and emphasis on critical thinking and analytical skills. During my studies, I gained a strong foundation in economic theory, quantitative analysis, and statistical methods. My coursework included subjects such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, development economics, and international trade, which equipped me with the tools to analyze and address complex economic issues. At Forman Christian College, I had the opportunity to work on research projects that involved real-world data analysis, policy evaluation, and economic forecasting. One of my key projects examined the relationship between government fiscal policies and regional economic growth, where I applied econometric models to identify trends and propose actionable recommendations. The university’s focus on interdisciplinary learning also allowed me to develop strong communication and problem-solving skills. I actively participated in student forums, case competitions, and seminars, which enhanced my ability to collaborate with diverse teams and present complex ideas to varied audiences. Graduating from Forman Christian College provided me with not only technical expertise in economics but also the adaptability and critical thinking skills that are essential for success in today’s dynamic professional landscape.

I love teaching and provide students the utmost care and attention in order to bring the best out of them and mould them into the better version of them holistically. I have an experience of teaching students of 4 years with the students ranging from being GCSE to A levels. I have taught Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Maths to students in both A levels and GCSE. My students have all gone to achieve 9s in the respective subjects that I teach. My classes are usually fun and interactive and not all about studies all the time, as we learn about many things besides the book knowledge in class. Other than that, because I am in university, I usually can relate to my students and understand them as I also fall under their generational demographic compared to much older teachers. I have also had experience in real life teaching, as I used to work as a teachers assistant in SEN schools in Swansea and was a SEN TA in London. I have also worked as a substitute teacher in other schools all around Swansea and in London. I have graduated from the Aga Khan School. It was an English medium school where I passed my A levels and GCSE from, with distinction. I got 3A* and one A on the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Economics respectively. Currently, I am studying mechanical engineering in Swansea university, and hope to make a difference in the world as I hone my skillset and fill my mind with knowledge.

I'm literally so overjoyed to have had the amazing opportunity to join GoStudent as a tutor back in April 2023 and I just wanted to elaborate further on my academic and in addition extracurricular skills which have equipped me greatly to be able to shine a light on my own capabilities as well as my weaknesses at this time! I think that I have developed my communication skills via group work with the rest of the tutors and programme coordinators and also have had the privilege to really just go into further detail about what actually makes me tick and I really appreciate how supportive everyone has been in terms of my development and progress thus far. But how about he excitement of sharing a wonderful session with my tutees? We usually discuss the relevance of outside-of-the-box thinking and how phenomenal it is when the student and their loved ones get to choose what will happen during the lesson itself and also set the standards regarding the content to be covered so the sessions are usually quite fun and engaging to be honest! :-) I really enjoyed my time at the UCL School of Pharmacy while studying for the MPharm degree and I am just waiting to be able to sit some deferred final year exams and graduate hopefully quite soon following a recent gap year actually. I did graduate with a first in MSci in Pharmaceutical Studies back in October 2022. Now I am just in the process of applying for medical school and tend to spend my free time on either reading novels, playing the keyboard or making artsy-craftsy notes which will hopefully contribute towards a revision blog that I am starting to establish. I also like going for walks and exploring all sorts of new exciting places within London. I did of course go to Exeter medical school back in 2017 and left (for personal reasons such as the PBL structure of the course) before joining UCL in 2018. This means I am quite agile when it comes to things like discussing interview techniques and CV requirements if needed for individual students. I also tend to motivate my tutees to stay and CONTINUE with what they are doing rather than back away, especially in the face of challenges! This is because I myself wish I hadn't left medicine and now am re-applying so it indicates my perseverence and understanding of the new and surprising aspects of the course! ;)

My daughter made all the arrangements and interacted with the tutors then I got notifications of dates and times of sessions. My daughter was able to message the tutors before a session to say which topics she'd like covered in the upcoming session. Very useful.
