I have availability for students as per my calendar availability. I also work with students on a weekly basis at a minimum to ensure momentum and consistency for the student. My latest start time for lessons is 6pm and I start lessons on the hour to maximise my availability for students. I have been an educator and trainer for over 17 years and love nothing more than seeing students achieve their goals. I am a scuba diving instructor as my main role and work all over the world. I enjoy watching Netflix and love diving even when I am not in work. I have been lucky to see a lot of the world through all my roles during my career. I tutor 11+, English up to the end of year 9 only and also tutor mathematics and science up to GCSE. I have knowledge of all UK countries curriculum and also the German curriculum. I myself completed the 11+ equivalent when younger and understand the commitment and learning that is needed to succeed. My favourite subjects in school were maths, science and physical education. I tend to teach students aged 14+, so from Year 9 to Year 13 or more mature students for ESL, but I do have a few students younger than this. I use a variety of teaching approaches, ranging from traditional methods of text analysis to modern forms of teaching, such as interactive quizzes, questionnaires and even YouTube videos if they benefit the students learning style. Hi, my name is Roland and I'm currently a second year medical student at the University of Bristol. I was born and raised in the UK, but I am half Japanese and have spent some considerable time in Japan. I enjoy playing tennis and going swimming, as well as academic studying. I have formal experiences of teaching Japanese exchange students English and also casually teaching students at GCSE level. I have been with GoStudent for almost a year, teaching over 50 lessons to students. I have 11 GCSE's which are grade 9, including maths, english and all 3 sciences.
