As a Chemical Engineering student, my academic journey is rooted in the fundamentals of sciences and mathematics. I developed a great foundation in sciences by studying double science, mathematics and other subjects for GCSEs and biology, chemistry and mathematics for A-levels. This lead to paving the path for my pursuit in higher education. During my A-levels, I loved sciences more and I always found it intriguing. I delved into biological intricacies and developed a deep understanding of molecular biology, human biology and ecology. I still utilize these lesson in my chosen course by understanding the interactions between biology and biochemical processes and bio-processes in chemical engineering. There are also other concepts I still learn and advance my knowledge in, such as chemical reactions and thermodynamics among others. This means I am equipped with essential chemical principles. I began a Chemistry degree in 2019 but quickly realised I did not have the love for the subject I thought I once had. I took a few years out to think about what I wanted to do and decided on an Aerospace Engineering degree, however to be able to do this I completed a foundation year at Birmingham which included, A-Level maths with aspects of Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science.

I have always been curious and love solving problems, which led me to study biochemistry at university before moving into software development.
