My undergraduate thesis focused on the spectrophotometric determination of phenolics from plant extracts, which strengthened my background in analytical chemistry. After graduation, I successfully passed the Philippine Licensure Examination for Chemists in September 2014. Alongside my academic journey, I began working as a freelance tutor between 2012 and 2014, supporting high school and college students in mathematics, chemistry, and other sciences. Many of the students I taught came from institutions with advanced science and math programs, while others needed help building foundational understanding. I am a third year medical student at Imperial College London, who also attended Queen Elizabeth's Boys' School. Whilst being a student, who's done his 11+, GCSEs and A-levels, I had to came up with new techniques to try and break down complex topics into smaller and simpler topics. I would love to pass on this knowledge, that I have gained through my experiences, onto younger students who are currently going through the processes that I did. My teaching style consists of seeing how each individual student learns best and then gearing my lessons towards their particular strengths to make learning as easy and fun as possible.
