I am a third-year undergraduate student studying Chemistry at the University of Leicester. Throughout my studies, I have seen how hard learning can be. I hope to help students build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of their subject area so they can reach their full potential during exams. My name is Imad and I am currently a first year medicine student at the University of Liverpool, having attended a grammar school prior. Hi! I am 4th year medical student currently studying at the University of Leicester. I am a tutor who will focus on where you feel your weak spots may be and help you build confidence in those areas. I always adapt to my students style of learning so they can get the most out of their sessions ! I teach GCSE Combined Science, Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a 5th year medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit. Hopefully, I can encourage more students, especially young women to pursue a future in STEM. I loved maths back in school and I do find myself still doing random mathematical questions as I love the subject. I was my favourite back in school. My teacher made English enjoyable and allowed me to have creative responsibilities, making me want to pass that on to the next generation. Apart from my educational background, I enjoy art, allowing me to be more creative and express myself in a different light. But apart from my academics, Im very creative and enjoy doing lots of artistic hobbies such as painting and drawing. My most remarkable talent is drawing landscapes.
