I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Plymouth. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping others as it brings happiness and joy to me. This is also the main reason why I wanted to become a tutor. In my spare time, I enjoy playing sports, particularly football and cricket. I have 2 younger brothers, so I am always entertained. I love talking and spending time with them. For secondary school, I attended the Oxford Spires Academy where I completed my GCSEs. For 6th form, I was accepted by The Cherwell School, where I completed my A-levels. At GCSE level science I achieved a grade 8/8 and at A-levels I achieved grades A in both Biology and Chemistry. In my first year of UCAS application, I did not receive any offers to study Medicine at University. However, towards the end of summer I came across an opportunity to study medicine through an alternative route. The University of Plymouth were offering a one-year transfer from Biomed to Medicine providing one achieved 3 As at A-levels, maintained a 70% pass rate across all modules in 1st year and passed the interview for Medicine. In the previous year only 2/23 applicants were successful in this route. Although this was intense, I was able to successfully transfer from Biomed to Medicine after the 1st year. This year I just completed my 1st year as a Medical student at the University of Plymouth

I am a Master’s student studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham. Throughout my studies, I have seen how hard learning can be. I hope to help students build confidence and gain a deeper understanding of their subject area so they can reach their full potential during exams. I aim to base my teaching around individual student I hold a BSc degree in Chemistry from the University of Leicester, where I built a strong foundation in scientific principles, analytical skills, and practical laboratory techniques. Alongside my academic journey, I have gained two years of experience tutoring, supporting students in developing confidence and understanding in their studies. I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, with a focus on advanced engineering processes, problem-solving, and research. I’m a 4th-year medical student who enjoys finding a balance between academics and creativity. When I’m not studying or working on university projects, I love going to the beach to surfing. In 2020, I completed 10 GCSEs with grades ranging from 6 to 9, including a 7 in English and Physics, an 8 in Mathematics, and a 9 in both Biology and Chemistry. I then studied A-levels in Biology, Mathematics, and Chemistry, alongside completing an Extended Project Qualification. Now I am a 4th year medical student.

I’m a 21 year old dental student studying in Bulgaria. I’ve taught students in the past, mainly during their GCSEs and A Levels, and I’m really excited to start teaching again. I’ve always been passionate about helping others learn because not only does it allow me to support students in building their confidence and understanding but it also strengthens my own knowledge. Hi, I'm Haris and I study Medicine at Leicester University, throughout school I always loved helping out any friends stuck on school work, because I found this was a great way to learn and now it's become a vital way for me to revise in med school. I will find different ways to explain certain topics to myself so that I can fully understand them, and I have found this effective when I’ve taken part in mentoring schemes at my university.
