I am the co-founder of the charity Broaden Out Their Horizons along with Harry Potter actress Helena Bonham Carter. Through this charity, I flew to South Africa to teach English Literature to underprivileged children at Magoba School. My teaching method: I believe in tailoring each lesson depending on the individual's needs. I am open to using different methods and have a very friendly approach in order to help students meet their learning needs! I want the students to feel comfortable and to enjoy their learning to the maximum! I’m Nabeel, a highly motivated and hard-working individual currently studying Medicine at the University of Manchester. Throughout my 2 years experience as a tutor, and in other employed and voluntary roles, I have strengthened my skills by working and communicating with children and adults from all walks of life. During my A Level studies, I obtained 3 A*s in Biology, Maths and Chemistry. Currently I am studying social sciences in second year at Sciences Po Paris campus of Le Havre and the program is in English. Research Experience: I had research attanchment at Nanyang Technological University before coming to France for my University, under the Biochemistry department. I also interned at the Singapore Environmental Agency under the Wolbachia project for dengue control. This experience gave me a 3-month laboratory working experience with leading biologists and bio-engineers in the field of infectious disease control, which made me interested in the public health sector and related social policies.
