I believe education is a lifelong journey. We master English every day for the rest of our lives. Hello! My name is Flora and I am a Master’s student at the University of Birmingham. I have great passion for English Literature and Language, as demonstrated by my achievement of A*s in both subjects and a 2:1 BA (hons.) in English Literature. I have been teaching KS3 and GCSE English Language and Literature, and A-Level English Literature, for 3+ years both online and in-person. I am most experienced in teaching GCSE English Language and Literature following the AQA, Edexcel and Eduqas exam boards, and OCR for A-Level Literature. I take pride in how I always adapt my teaching style to my student’s needs, requirements and preferences. Hi there! My name is Emaan and I am currently a second-year student, reading History at Queen Mary University of London, with aspirations to become a secondary history teacher. I’ve had many years of experience volunteering with schools helping students excel in subjects that they find difficult. I’ve always had a passion for science leading me to have a career in microbiology so I know tutoring biology would be a strong suit. Hopefully, I can encourage more students, especially young women to pursue a future in STEM.
