My name is Teo and I am currently undertaking my Professional Diploma in Secondary Teaching of English at the University of Edinburgh. I have been a tutor with GoStudent for over a year now, helping students from a range of age groups and ability levels achieve their potential and acquire the results they desire. My experience stretches from S1 to S6 students, with lessons carefully tailored to each and every one of them. In addition to my experience of teaching English to students from the Scottish Exam Board, I have also gained experience with England's AQA exam board, supporting several students in GCSE and A-Level English. Furthermore, my education in Film Studies from the University of St Andrews has allowed me to support students in the subject of Media as well. I strive to keep each lesson focused on the student's ability while introducing relatable and up-to-date topics to retain the student's interest as they stay engaged for the whole lesson. I have a great passion for teaching and helping young people achieve their academic goals, therefore, if the experience I have outlined above matches what you are looking for in a tutor, do not hesitate to get in touch! I am currently in the process of attaining my Professional Diploma in Secondary Teacher of English at the University of Edinburgh. Before embarking on my teacher journey, I dedicated the year 2021-2022 to my Master's degree in Playwriting and Dramaturgy at the University of Glasgow. That year resulted in my obtainment of a Distinction (First Class) achievement in that course. Over that year, I further developed my writing skills as well as my critical and academic engagement with the Drama genre. I believe this experience has proved especially valuable during my work with teaching and tutoring. Prior to my Master's qualification, I achieved a Second Class First Division result in my Undergraduate degree in English and Film Studies from the University of St Andrews. During this time, the majority of my literature skills were developed as well as my ability to critically engage with the art of moving pictures. Throughout my lengthy academic experience, I have engaged with a wide range of textual and visual styles and genres which has allowed me to provide knowledge and insight to each one of my tutoring sessions over the past year and a half. In addition, my teacher education will prove even more useful in my tutoring work as my skills will continue to develop, and my ability to support my students will continue to grow. I do hope I have been successful in representing my academic background and would be incredibly happy and excited to pass my literacy skills onto my students and help them achieve the academic results they are looking for.

Hi! My name is Rameet and I’m currently in my third year of university, with my chosen course being English Literature. I believe English is the key to achieving a greater understanding of the wider world in terms of its social and historical aspects, and that in improving your English skills, you are not only improving your written, but also verbal communication skills simultaneously, which is required in future life. Within my tutoring, I expect to provide students with the necessary help they need to achieve the best grades possible so that in the future they can reach their full potential. In turn, I also expect my students to become active learners - participating in their lessons fully, and asking questions when concepts aren't understood. Lower Level: Business Studies, English Literature GCSE: Business Studies, English Literature, English Language A-Level: Business Studies, English Literature Preferred exam board experience: AQA for both English and Business Studies, however, the Edexcel Business Studies course has a lot of crossover and therefore could teach this. Languages: German up to GCSE level. Preferred student age group: Primary Level and GCSE level however would be happy to teach up to A-Level for both subjects. From a young age I had a passion for teaching; setting up my dolls and teaching them about whatever I had learnt that day at school, now I have the opportunity to do that and see the results of what we have gone through. Throughout sixth form, alongside my A-Levels I would tutor the younger pupils and help them gain confidence and find enjoyment in learning. now at University, whilst I no longer have the opportunity to do this I now volunteer at the local hospital organising activity evenings for the patients there. Not only do I meet a variety of people here but it has also greatly improved my organisational skills and challenged my already creative brain to new lengths. When I get the chance to relax I do so by reading. I hope that I can incorporate my love for literature in my teaching to create memorable and long lasting connections through what I teach my students. I hope my passion for teaching can be seen through my lessons and will inspire those who I work with to achieve their personal and academic goals! Up until leaving school at 18 I attended The Priory Academy LSST. Here I completed my GCSEs, coming away with 12 GCSEs securing two 9s in English Literature and English Language. I decided to choose English Literature, Psychology and Business Studies as my A-Level options and completed the two years with an A* in Psychology, an A in English Literature and a B in Business Studies. Currently, I am in my first year at Durham University studying Psychology with an optional module in English Literature.

Primary: Maths, English, French, Spanish GCSE: Maths, English, French, Spanish Exam board Experience: 13+, AQA, IGCSE, Edexcel Languages spoken: French (Native), English (Native), Spanish (Fluent) Preferred student age group: Primary/Middle school/GCSE About me: Hi there! I'm Thibaud, originally from France but I grew up in London. I've moved around lots in my twenties and I'm currently studying a Masters in Outdoor Environmental and Sustainability Education at Edinburgh University. I'm passionate about education, but not just in the traditional sense. I want to give you, the student, the opportunity to learn in the way that's most comfortable for you. Love sports? Let's create a lesson using your favourite one. Are you more into music? That's great too, we can sing or play what we learn. My aim is for the lesson to be as fun as it is educational. A bit about my hobbies: I love sports, especially when I can be outside. I'm also learning to play the guitar and love to travel - I just spent my summer in Portugal, where I enjoyed living by the Ocean. Finally, I'm always looking for ways to live more ecologically, including in education. If that's something you'd be interested in, then I'd be delighted to explore how we create environmental lessons. I can't wait to go meet you and to go on the learning journey together. See you soon! I have an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Economics from the University of Exeter, which included a year studying abroad in Mexico. As part of my Masters Degree, I led school field trips to outdoor education trips on the Water of Leith, Edinburgh. I also have a 150 hour TEFL certificate.

It is useful to establish a correct communication about class times. We do not want to be counted as if the lessons that are not confirmed by us, whose time and appointment details are not clear. A lesson that was not confirmed was considered to have been held. We kindly ask to be sensitive about this issue. We kindly ask for the return and redoing of the course that is considered to have been processed. There are no problems with the teaching, the teacher's approach, his/her communication with my child and his/her expression. İyi günler Konuyla ilgili dönüşünüz sonrası bir gelişme olmadı.
