Last year I completed the International Baccalaureate, and have also taken GCSEs and IGCSEs. I studied all three of my subjects at IB level as well as at GCSE/IGCSE. I have also had tutoring experience from primary-GCSE level, with a preference for GCSE tutoring. I have also done courses on Autism, ADHD, and mental health and have taught people with SEND. I am also indifferent to the age of my students but would prefer to teach at GCSE level. Personally, I would describe myself as open-minded, kind, and caring and would also say that I am a nerd! I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. English teaching has long been a passion of mine and my role has evolved to encompass academic writing support, something that I feel should be taught in school and is sought after by examiners across all exam boards. My students always achieve their goals through hard work, regular tutoring and lots of writing practice! I am currently a part-time Master's student of a TESOL and Education programme in Cardiff and my intention is to lecture this subject in the near future after my PHD.
