I’m an ESL teacher with eight years of experience, and I genuinely enjoy helping students become more confident in using English. Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, so I’ve learned how to adjust my teaching style depending on what my students need. Outside the classroom, I volunteer in my community, especially working with youth. This is something very important to me because I believe education can really change lives. I have been teaching English online for over three-years now. This has included English as a foreign language and GCSE/ A level English literature and language. I graduated last year with a first-class degree in English literature and Language in Cardiff University and received a scholarship in my second year for being the best performing pupil in my cohort. Hello, I am a stop motion animator and aspiring filmmaker based in Scotland. Stop motion has allowed me to focus on my passion for storytelling and combines my love of literature, theatre and art. I absolutely adore stories: reading them, watching them, and capturing them myself. I am dyslexic and it has taken me time to develop all of the studying tips and tricks that I now have the privilege to share with others. I’m also a keen gardener, baker and painter. I have a first class joint honours Master of Arts in English literature and Film & Visual Culture from the University of Aberdeen. I was given the Seafield medal for English and the Film 23’ prize for my dissertation. I also studied Geology, Geography and Ecology as elective subjects at university. I also recently completed the Aardman Academy animation courses SM1 and SM2. I did GCSE’s and IGCSE’s followed by the International Baccalaureate at St Leonard’s High School and attended the Royal Conservatoire Juniors Production program alongside. Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. The goal is to familiarise yourself with exam techniques to the point where exam questions do not startle you. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

I am a third year medical student currently looking to tutor Maths from primary school level up to and including GCSE level.
