Through balancing four A-Levels along with my revision, I have become more adept at organisation and multi-tasking. I also achieved an A* in my EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in which I concluded that 'real women' lack representation in textual philology owing to the dominance of male writers thus the voicelessness of Ancient Greek women is mirrored in their lack of power over their presentation in Greek myth. This project has allowed me to specialise my analysis of the presentation of women in literature through going back to its origins, this is especially useful as gender is a very common and pervasive theme in literature from GCSEs to A-Levels. Now, I am undergraduate at Durham University where I study English Literature where I am able to read and analyse captivating texts. Hello! My name is Emma, and I am a second-year Accounting and Finance student at Lancaster University. I achieved 9 GCSEs, ranging from 7-9, which allowed me to study Chemistry, Economics and Maths. I also gained an A* in my EPQ, which I completed in year 12, giving me crucial skills that I have carried forward to my degree. I have been tutoring for over a year. During this time, I have helped prepare primary school students for their SATS and gained more confidence with maths in the classroom.
