Hi! I’m Emilia, a Maths and Physics tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students gain confidence in STEM subjects. I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry at A-level, and recently completed my BSc in Mathematics and Physics. I’m now continuing my studies at the University of Cambridge, where I’m pursuing a Master’s (MPhil) in Data Intensive Science. I’ve been tutoring for the past two years, working with students of all ages and abilities, from primary school through to A-level. Most of my experience is at GCSE level, where I particularly enjoy helping students prepare for exams, strengthen problem-solving skills, and build genuine understanding rather than just memorising formulas. Outside of tutoring, I love combining my interests in science, coding, and education, as well as exploring creative projects that make complex ideas easier to visualise and learn. I’m currently studying for an MPhil in Data Intensive Science at the University of Cambridge, where I’m developing advanced skills in computational methods, statistics, and physics-based data analysis. Before this, I completed a BSc in Mathematics and Physics, which gave me a strong foundation in mathematical modelling, mechanics, and problem-solving. At school, I studied Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level, subjects that sparked my long-term interest in science and set me on the path I’m on today.

I am an English student at the University of Nottingham, currently working on my degree. I came from Essex, studying for 7 years at KEGS, a top-tier grammar school, where I attained 14 GCSE's, and 3 A-levels. I spent much of that time tutoring and teaching students below me, as I have a great passion for teaching. I completed my secondary education at a grammar school in Chelmsford, where I achieved strong academic results across a broad curriculum, including 14 GCSEs. Notably, I was awarded grade 9s in both English Literature and English Language. I then progressed to A-level study, securing an A in English alongside two additional subjects. I am currently in the final year of my undergraduate studies and will graduate in May with a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Nottingham.

My name is Charlotte and I am currently studying at the university of Lincoln in Dance (BA). I look forward to helping you achieve your full potential in English or Maths, which I studied and enjoyed in A-level. While being there, I achieved 9 9’s and 1 8 at GCSE, and followed in getting an A in maths A-level and a B in English literature. I am currently studying Dance at the university of Lincoln after taking a gap year to work hard and earn money.

As a student my self I understand how daunting exams and revision can get and through my journey of improvement through trial and error I have understood that each student requires a different approach to learning and every student has the potential to achieve the top grades. It will make me extremely happy if I can help make it a little easy for students to ace their exams and perform to the best of their abilities!!!! My approach would be to ensure that students understand concepts required by their subject. - I also place a lot of importance in exam practice and mastering exam skills and a portion of my lessons will be used to do that. - During the first lesson, I aim to identify where the student is working at right now and work out techniques we can use for improvement because I believe any students can get the top grades through effective learning and revision. - Discussing revision techniques and advice on revision tips. - I really like the 'blurting' techniques and recall so be prepared for questions!!!! I have recently completed my a levels in Chemistry Biology and Psychology in addition to an epq on the topic of antibiotic substitutes. I am quite keen about education and therefore want to teach other people and help them get to their full potential!!! Since I am planning to be a biology, GCSE Science and psychology tutor at both gcse and A levels, I believe it is relevant to mention that at GCSE I did triple science, achieving all 9s and also psychology, achieving an 8. Hi! I'm Archie and I'm a GCSE, iGCSE, AS Level and A-Level maths tutor currently studying Mathematics and Finance at university with a current first prediction. I truly enjoy tutoring students who struggle with maths and specialise in improving predicted grades. I used to struggle with maths when I was younger but that's because I didn't understand it and now I do I'm planning on pursuing a career in it and would love to help other students get to the same level that I'm at. I attended Haileybury as my secondary school where I gained 10 GCSEs gaining 7s, 8s, and 9s and I studied maths, physics and computer science at a-level get ABB respectively. I am now at the University of York studying mathematics and finance with a current first class prediction. I specialise in improve predicted grades by studying and fully understanding the mark schemes. My favourite maths topics are calculus, mechanics, and trigonometric functions.

Hi! I'm Tom, 22 years old, and currently a student at the university of Birmingham studying chemical engineering at a masters level. I'm very enthusiastic about anything maths and science, bringing practical engineering application to life. I live in the heart of north wales, love to swim and play football. I attended the Kings school Chester for both secondary school and sixth form. I obtained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's and an A* in further maths (10 A*s in old money). At sixth form, I obtained an A* in maths and chemistry, and an A in physics at A level. I then went on to study chemical engineering at the University of Birmingham, averaging a first-class honours degree in my first three years. I am now currently going into my final year to obtain an integrated masters degree.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for almost a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a current Sunday-School teacher and former volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE.
