Hi! My name is Yaseen and I am currently a second-year student at the University of Manchester and I am studying Mechatronic Engineering. I love this field of study because it is always evolving and progressing with the development of technology used in manufacturing electrical components and robots. My interest in STEM subjects began at secondary school where my teachers showed me the applications of STEM which led to the formation of a STEM club and my involvement as a STEM ambassador. I am currently a first year Economics student at the University of Warwick. I have always enjoyed maths and while A-Level economics was a lot of fun and extremely interesting especially during the pandemic, it is taking some time to enjoy studying the discipline at a university level. When I’m not stuck studying or doing some sort of society work I love to go for a run(on the treadmill though), re read any one of Jane Austen’s book or go for long walks with a friend. I’m a uni student at the university of Nottingham who loves to help others by using my own education experiences to do so. I am a PhD research scholar at the University of Nottingham. My research mainly deals with Maths and Physics. I love learning and teaching.
