I am currently studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Surrey. I can teach up to A-Level Maths. I have exam board experience for Edexcel GCSE Maths and OCR B MEI A-Level Maths. I am fluent in both English and Tamil. I am looking to teach anyone of all ages! I am only familiar with the English Curriculum (OCR, Edexcel, and AQA). I completed my GCSEs and A-Levels at Langley Grammar School and achieved an 8 in Maths at GSCE and a C in Maths at A-Level (5 marks off from a B). I did Maths, Chemistry and Biology at A-level I will be teaching A-Level Maths and Biology I have some experience in teaching both subjects when I used to mentor some students in high school with GCSE maths and Biology I am determined to prepare well before the class. Hello there, my name is Joshua and welcome to my profile! I am a dedicated 21-year-old medical student currently in my 3rd year of university. My previous experience of a tutoring role was as a reading tutor at the Manchester Academy High School. This included helping children of different ages, who had English as a second language, with their reading and comprehension. The reason why I loved this teaching experience was because it helped me empathize with the circumstances that different people are in, and it improved my communication and social skills. I also have experience as a remote healthcare customer assistant who advised people that had been in contact with a Covid-19 patient to self-isolate for 14 days, so communicating online is nothing new to me! As for my teaching style I’d like to create a relaxed friendly environment that promotes hard work, gives constructive and supportive feedback, and encourages students to talk about things outside of the work.
