I have been a tutor since early 2020, when I started this career choice alongside working in the NHS as a mature student nurse at the University of Sheffield. I later went on to make this my full-time career, and in this time have worked with over 300 students, both long term and short term, of all different ages. My journey as an engineering student has been full of exciting opportunities to apply maths and science to real-life projects. One of my favorite projects was producing biodiesel from eggshells, which I showcase when discussing energy in physics. I also had a blast running STEM workshops in Dubai for kids. I'm an active member of AIChE and love participating in physics competitions. I won first prize in "Girls Got It" by building a mini robot with my team and creating a simple pendulum model.
