My name is Sidney and I'm a current third year student at the University of Bristol studying Physics with Astrophysics. I'm beyond passionate about my subject and particularly areas of study relating to maths, and thrilled to be able to tutor with GoStudent and provide help to my students! I am a recent graduate with a masters degree in physics from the University of Manchester, currently working as a theoretical physics researcher. I also have experience giving one on one classes to an A level physics student in London. I have always loved maths and physics and feel as though the key is to find the way of understanding the subject that works for you, and this is my approach to tutoring. I am also a big lover of music and food and spend a lot of my free time cooking and eating. I obtained A*s at A-level in physics, maths and spanish and went on to study an MPhys in physics at the University of Manchester, specialising in theoretical physics, from which I graduated with a first class degree. Whilst studying physics I continued learning languages at university taking 1 year of spanish and 2 years of russian. Since graduating I have been working as a junior researcher in the Department of Theoretical Physics at the University of Zaragoza in Spain performing research into the possible detection of dark matter candidate particles.

I have a BSc in Physics and Applied Physics from Strathclyde University. I gained my CERT TESOL from Trinity College and taught English for 3 years in Hong Kong. I taught in kindergartens,Primary,Secondary schools. I also taught adults in various private learning centres. I returned to Glasgow and gained my PGDE in Secondary Physics from University of Glasgow. In my spare time, I train in Thai boxing (had a few professional fights), fitness and weights.

My most recent teaching position was at Amrita University where I teach robotics, AI, ML, Drone tech, etc. to school students as a Robotics Technical Assistant. Have done a few computer vision projects in raspberry pi and using a Tello drone, have trained ML datasets and created TensorFlow models later deployed as an android app. 1.
