During this experience I learnt how to develop different explanations for the same concept on the spot and this has been a very useful skill. I like to make my lessons interactive and write on an online whiteboard in real time so that the student can actively take notes. I am currently a Theoretical Physics Student at Royal Holloway University of London and wish to become a Professor of Mathematic Physics. My approach with most students is laid back with my understanding that a tutoring session must not feel the same as the school day. Most students are fed up of school at the end of the day, and continuing a similar environment after school in my experience does not lead to great engagement from students. For the students to learn they have to want to, and trying to make the tutoring session as laid back and enjoyable as possible I believe works really well.
