Hello my name is Edward, I am currently a third year undergraduate studying Mechanical Engineering at UCL. I have multiple years of tutoring experience and I'm here to help assist fellow students. I have many hobbies, I enjoy keeping fit by practising kickboxing and going to the gym regularly. I also play guitar and have a passion for music. I also try to spend a good amount of time reading, i'm currently making my way through the Game of Thrones books. During my GCSEs I was a very high achiever receiving all 9s and 8s, I also took part in multiple extra curricular activities to improve my academics including a Maths masterclass during year 10 to improve my understanding of the subject. I then went on to obtain an A* in A level Maths, an A in A level Further Maths, an A in A level physics and a B in A level psychology. I am now currently studying undergraduate Mechanical Engineering at UCL.

I am really looking forward to helping students to learn online. As a qualified teacher I worked in mainstream education for over 40 years teaching Key Stage 3 Science and also Key Stage 4 Combined Science and Separate Sciences to GCSE level as well as key Stage 5 Physics to Advanced level. I have also taught part of the GCSE Maths specification. After retirement I continued to teach as a Supply teacher at Secondary and Primary level. Also over the last year when classes were isolating at home I taught some classes online. I always enjoy the buzz of teaching and the excitement of experiencing students learning and helping them to progress with their lives. My Physics degree was from Bristol University and my MSc from Birmingham University. In my spare time I like to keep up by reading about recent advances in Science and where we are heading. As a teacher I used to run the table tennis and chess teams and would include those activities as my hobbies. So through online teaching I look to be efficient and adaptable hoping to help as many students as possible. BSc in Physics from University of Bristol and MSc in Physics of Materials from University of Birmingham. This is why I have highlighted Physics to GCSE and A level and Maths to GCSE. However in my teaching career I have taught Biology and Chemistry over many years.

I have a C1 in English and learned Italian during my stay abroad. My focus when I teach is on providing a welcoming environment where the student can feel free to explore and question what is taught so that natural curiosity can develop and he/she leaves the class with more confidence and autonomy.

Hello! I am Riddhi. I was a graduate student studying Theoretical Physics at the University of Edinburgh 2021-22 and have now switched to web development recently. I am particularly interested in teaching Physics as well as Mathematics, as I can confidently claim that I have developed a deep intuition for both of these disciplines over the years. I believe that learning both Maths and Physics can be made into a fun process if taught accurately! I have done a Post-graduation course in Theoretical Physics. Apart from my personal education, my tutoring expertise lies in teaching Physics from Year 8 till Year 13, as well as teaching Maths till Year 9. I have been in the tutoring profession for past 5 years now. My greatest achievement so far would be getting a student from zero interest in studying Physics, to teaching them beyond their current year curriculum within just months. I have been a tutor for 4 years now and I took Maths, Further maths, physics and computer science at A level. I’m Luci, a recent maths graduate from the University of Oxford. I’ve been tutoring all ages and abilities for over five years, ranging from helping secondary school students to adjust to their pre-GCSE workload, to A level, admissions tests and interview practice for 16 to 18 year olds. I tutor primary school, GCSE and A Level maths. I have experience with children hoping to increase their grade to a high pass, but have also worked on summer schools with students aiming to achieve top A level grades and study maths degrees at prestigious universities. After working as a teacher in Spain on a two month summer school, I really hope to work as a maths teacher abroad in the future! I am currently a fourth year medical student at the University of Nottingham and hold a First Class Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. Hi! My name is Oliver, but everyone calls me Ollie, and I have been studying Politics at the University of Warwick since September 2023. I did A-Levels in my home city of Liverpool. I love my subject and I love teaching children as I have done before working at Kumon. I play instruments with my favourite being the drum kit, and I love playing board games with people!
