Hello, my name is Aasim. I am currently a medical student aspiring to one day become an orthopaedic surgeon. I went to secondary school and sixth form in London , after which I took a gap year and started Medicine at university afterwards. During my gap year I spent time working as an HCA at the Royal London Hospital as well as tutoring some of my family friends' children for chemistry and maths. I also spent a fair amount of time pursuing my own hobbies and interests such as drawing, reading, MMA and football which I try to play once a week with my friends. I like to incorporate visual aids in my lessons as I, myself, am a very visual learner. I also like to maintain a light-hearted environment when teaching my students, often employing humour during my lessons as I feel that it can make the student more relaxed and enables them to learn and absorb concepts in a stress-free environment. After covering a particular topic, I often go through questions together with students so that they can apply their knowledge in a practical setting which is what they will have to do in their exams after all. Hello! My name is Blessy and I am currently a 4th year medical student with over six years of tutoring experience, including three years on the GoStudent platform. Outside of academics, I enjoy going to the gym, watching films and reading in my spare time. Alongside tutoring, I also lead teaching sessions for other medical students at my university, which has strengthened my ability to explain complex ideas clearly and adapt to different learning styles. I take a patient and supportive approach and am particularly experienced in working with students who may feel shy, lack confidence or struggle with focus, helping them feel more comfortable and engaged in their learning! I achieved seven 9s, two 8s, one 7, two Distinction* grades, and one Distinction grade at GCSE (all sat in person), as well as A-level grades in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths. I am currently a medical student studying abroad. My academic background and experience mean I am very familiar with the demands of these subjects. This, combined with a patient, structured approach means I am well equipped to support students in developing a strong foundation of understanding and implementing effective study strategies to help them succeed!

Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in Science and Mathematics. I believe students learn best when they understand the ideas behind a topic rather than simply memorising facts or formulas. My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive, and easy to follow, while encouraging students to ask questions, think critically, and develop strong problem-solving skills. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background provided me with a strong foundation in Mathematics, Science, logical reasoning, and problem-solving. My professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control has further strengthened my analytical, technical, and documentation skills.
