Hi! I'm Eve. Levels & Subjects I teach: The subjects I can tutor are English Literature and English Language at a lower and GSCE level, and also History at lower, GSCE, and A-Level. Exam Board experience: Although I have personally sat my exams with the AQA exam board (meaning I have the most experience with their particular content), I am adaptable and can tutor for any exam board necessary! Languages: I am fluent in English. SEND (Special Education Needs and Disability) experience: I have yet to gain experience with SEND. Preferred Student Age group: My preferred student ages are GSCE and A-Level, but I am completely happy and able to provide tutoring for all ages! About me: I am a third year History and Philosophy student, who has always loved English, history, and the arts. My degree has made it possible for me to learn more in-depth about my favourite areas of history - particularly the cold war and feminist history - and to continue my passion for English by taking minor classes in Classics. In my GSCES, I received a 7 in both English Lit and English Language, and an 8 in History. At A-Level, I received an A in History. Some of my favourite past-times are reading (both novels and poetry), listening to music, and designing and sewing clothes. My current favourite read is The Odyssey by Homer, and The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde - both of which I highly recommend. I am excited to gain more experience in tutoring the subjects I love, and I look forward to hopefully working with some of you!

Teaching background: I have taught and teach KS2 Maths and English (all levels at Primary school). I am patient with students and allow them to learn at their own pace. I split most of my classes into 40% teaching (explaining the subject), 35% work and 25% going over the answers and areas where the student has struggled with. I generally set homework depending on if the parent requests so. General background: Hello there :-) I am Denise and I am currently a Business Analyst in tech and love problem-solving puzzles, especially Sudoku. Also enjoy cooking, socialising, travelling, playing badminton, reading and hiking. Really passionate about helping others (including being a compassionate neighbour at St Christopher's Hospice) and I would someday love an opportunity to mentor students. Hi everyone ! I'm Ridhi and I am a first year geography student at the University of Warwick. I completed A levels in Biology, Economics and Maths and achieved grades of all As. I have a passion for tutoring and helping students reach their full potential. Having the experience as a student tutor, I am able to devise powerpoints and engaging resources tailored to everyone. Outside academics, I play badminton and swim regularly and am part of many societies at Warwick. I'm excited to meet you all! I have worked at KipMcgrath education centre as a student tutor and helper during my A levels. Alongside this, I have been an economics prefect at my sixth form as well as led econsociety, where we delivered visually engaging presentations every week. I created a diverse and inclusive society allowing those who wanted to engage in economics outside study would be able to. I also ran weekly economics study sessions for year 12's to practice their exam technique and cover any areas of the course they may find difficult. Therefore, I have the appropriate skills in creating powerpoints, running study sessions and communicating to my peers to be able to be a tutor. My passion for not only economics but biology and science as well is shown through my dedication in societies and making resources easily accessible as well as engaging for others.

Hey !! I am a recent Law graduate interested in pursuing tutoring. Teaching ONLY history at GCSE and lower years! I can teach History at a lower and GCSE and A-Level level and Law at an A-level and undergraduate level. But currently taking on only GCSE and lower years. I have experience in tutoring kids at primary levels in subjects maths and English, which I am also interested to teach. I have had a history of tutoring kids voluntarily at local establishments and siblings for years and have mentoring experience for A-Levels history or arabic reading tutoring and mentoring. I have experience with AQA and Edexcel exam boards. I speak English, Urdu/Hindi and Pashto at a native level of fluency. I have years of informal tutoring which started from a young age during Arabic lessons to A-level mentoring. I prefer the ages from primary to GCSE. I love to watch crime and nature documentaries but I am also interested in fictional books and biographies of great leaders and prominent figures throughout world history. I love a walk through a park on a sunny day and possibly play basketball and football. For GCSE I chose to continue History due to my love for history and my interest in learning about how the events in history shaped society as we know it today. This passion and love for History was carried on for my A-Levels, where alongside this I chose politics to have a better understanding of the political world it is today and how it transformed from the past, since I had love for learning history. Moreover, my curiosity into the working world and how society works and progresses and progressed through history led me to choose sociology to understand the world better and realise the disadvantages and discrimination some sectors of society faces. Alongside my studies, I have participated in multiple social programmes that intended to make a social change such as Envision, which was a programme where I was project manager and researcher for the topic of child resilience and child abuse. which earned me and my team funds from the dragons dens (version of the programme) and placed best team work and research in the finals. Adding more to my passion for helping and spreading awareness on social issues, I wrote a 5000 word dissertation in my A-Levls about the legislative system and racial rights in the UK and how more needs to be done to minimise, at least, racial prejudice. Additional to this, I have had a keen interest in the business world and helped in marketing and project managing our goal and vision to win which lead us to the Young Enterprises semi finals. Currently, I am self teaching korean and learning more about islamic history and reading up on social movements leaders like the civil rights movement leaders like MLK and Malcolm X. Which is an extended interest from A-Levels history where I wrote a dissertation on the civil rights movement and the leadership that made a change in African American history. on my off time, I like to travel and visit the parks and enjoy reading about my current interests, like auto biographies on leaders and social events and significant historical events but also fictional books that sucks me into the world of imagination. I am a huge fan of BTS because of the poetic lyricism thats conveys messages of strength, self esteem and self love and passion for the things you love irregardless of what society has to say. Their message is applicable to all that is willing to listen and understand their message and movement. Like e one of their member said "You'll like BTS music if you listen without prejudice" - Suga. I am in support of their music and what they stand for and I am in support of their multiple campaigns like their "LOVE MYSELF" campaign, that stand with social change, social justice and climate changed and youth power in changing the future for the better. This all stand true with me and my beliefs and I would love to share if I can their message and help spread the positivity and self love their promote. But also would love to talk and connect with my students with similar music interests and beliefs.

GCSE: English, History A Level: English Experience: KS3/KS4 Languages: Urdu, Hindi Preferred: GCSE, A Level A journalism graduate with a love for all things reading, writing, photography and cinema related! Being able to immerse in something like books or a movie at the cinema really enables me to escape for a little bit and come back seeing the world in a different light- Writing and photography are my forms of expressions. As my favourite quote from Harry Potter perfectly puts it - “Words are, in my not-so-humble opinion, our most inexhaustible source of magic. Capable of both inflicting injury, and remedying it.” As for the photography; a perfect way to capture a moment or event where words fail to convey the true emotion in its depth! BA Journalism - University of the Arts London: Studying Journalism really enabled me to further grasp and develop my passion for English, as well as enabling me to develop my interpersonal skills. Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training - SCCD.

I took up GoStudent for my son as was thrown into learning Irish after we moved at the age of 11. He was so upset at not understanding what was going on in class, he had missed all the basics, and his class was so far ahead of him that he used to come home in tears. The setup was easy, the tutor is extremely nice and within 4 months I have seen an incredibly marked improvement, not only in his work but also his confidence in tackling it. He now can complete his homework on his own which is important as I don't speak any Gaelic myself. I think online tutoring is also extremely time efficient, not only for me but for the tutors who dont have to factor travel into their prices or time. GoStudent isnt just value for money.... it it in fact... priceless!

Ewan the tutor for my Son for A levels was simply amazing. He had in-depth knowledge of the subject and was able to answer all the answers to the questions posed. My Son has been doing great under the guidance and training of the tutor. I can simply suggest him to others for training.
