We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead for Financial Analytics and Data to join our Finance team. This leadership position will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance and supporting decision-making across the company's departments.

Role Overview:
As the Lead Financial Analytics and Data, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the company's financial analytics strategy. You will oversee a team of financial analysts focused on analyzing subscriber behavior, tracking financial key performance indicators, and identifying growth opportunities that align with our subscription model business. Furthermore, you will also own, maintain and further develop an FP&A tool that acts as central source of financial information for reporting and budgeting. Your role will involve translating data insights into actionable financial strategies and collaborating with cross-functional departments to drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of financial data analysts, providing guidance, setting goals, and fostering a culture of collaboration and financial excellence.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive financial analytics strategy aligned with the company's financial goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to understand business needs and translate them into actionable financial insights.
• Analyze subscriber data to derive financial insights, including trends in subscriber acquisition, retention, lifetime value, and churn.
• Create and maintain financial dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into financial performance metrics, subscriber trends, and their impact on business outcomes.
• Utilize advanced statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and financial forecasting techniques to identify potential revenue growth opportunities and cost optimization strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in financial analytics to ensure our approaches remain cutting-edge and competitive.
• Work closely with the central data organization (engineers & scientists) and IT teams to ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of our financial data infrastructure.
• Own, maintain and develop the internal FP&A tool as central source of information for management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports and insights to senior leadership, contributing to data-driven financial decisions.

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics/Science or a related field.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in a data analytics role, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities and leadership.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience in building and managing analytical teams, fostering professional growth, and promoting a collaborative environment is an asset.
• Solid understanding of subscription-based business models and relevant financial metrics (churn rate, LTV, CAC, MRR, ARR, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial findings in a clear and actionable manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• Familiarity with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and forecasting techniques.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to align financial analytics initiatives with strategic financial objectives.
